Aquzz Hotel & Spa

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and we travel multiple times a year. It was listed as a hotel and spa with AC, WiFi, a pool and a spa. The pool was empty the spa closed for good, the WIFI said as so bad I couldn’t even co tact hotels.com for help and the AC was subpar that I was still sweating. It is next to a prison which is no big deal. I had to book another hotel for my duration. The island was booked that night so we had to go to the holiday in. Resort or stay there. Hotels.com has still not offered me a refund. I have asked them to take this property off the site and make sure of thier VIP properties in there future. I have been thinking about leaving hotels.com for booking.fom for some time and this may be the straw that broke the camels back. Please note that I have been a platinum member for years and I don’t need to stay at high end places. This has nothing to do with that. Do not stay here, unless they are charging to 10 bucks a night and you know the expectations. Not what you want for your trip to paridise

I had a too-bad incident. I got some information from their staff. The owner of Raaif Waleed invited my wife to his room.
Food is the same as water, and in the room inside, rats are running away. 600 USD also missing from the room & nothing got action I thought they organised and did cheaper work

I would like to thank each and every staff from this hotel. Specially Pramit who recommended so many places for activities and for the food.
Our stay became so much easier because of him. And also I would like to thanks Riju who coordinate our transfer boat at the last minute.
Definitely recommending this place to my friends who will visit mafushi in maldives.

We had paid for a deluxe room with balcony, and when we arrived they were all under repair. The manager of the property said that they attempted to text, but no such text was received. The room that we were placed in was on the 4th floor, right next to the spa. There was only a door separating our room from the spa, and we could hear spa treatments going on. We had no privacy there. The shower also didnt work, and we were told that it would be fixed, and it never was. Another thing is that our window didnt close, and the air conditioning didn't work. We ended up abandoning our reservation and going to a nicer hotel, where everything worked, and we had privacy!

It doesnt have ten pools, there is one small pool near reception. The living walls are a few weeds stick in a pipe on the wall. No coffee or milk in room, just tea bags. Air con is good and staff are nice, otherwise a bit one star

Dirty bed sheets, pillow cases, towels and etc. They dont have face towels. They dont give you a soap, toothbrush and paste unless you ask them. Dirty pool where mosquitoes throw a parties and eat you after that

We recently stayed at Aquzz Hotel Maafushi, and let me tell you, it was a delightful experience. My husband and I were greeted with genuine warmth by the staff, who went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Our room, complete with a balcony, was both elegant and inviting, offering a splendid view of the island.

The candlelight dinner on the beach was a throwback to the romantic evenings of yesteryears, with excellent food and a charming atmosphere. The couple's spa treatment was a much-needed indulgence, thoroughly relaxing and well executed.

The sunset cruise was a serene journey, reminding us of the simple joys of life. And snorkeling in the clear Maldivian waters was a refreshing adventure, reconnecting us with nature.

Aquzz Hotel Maafushi struck a perfect balance between modern luxury and the timeless charm of hospitality. It's an ideal getaway for those who appreciate the finer things in life, coupled with a touch of adventure. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Calm and quiet location
Very friendly and helpful staff especially Mr. Arun. Rooms are specious and clean. We had an amazing experience with their in-house spa also.

We spent quality time here at Maafushi, my second visit, one of the best places to visit in the Maldives. Words are not enough to express to Aquzz inn team for making our trip a splendid one.
The accommodation and food here is superb.
The staff here are very friendly and cooperative, especially Mr. Arun and Ms. Leeshma, they assisted us in everything and a highly recommended place to spend your holiday. They will give the proper guidance to see the wonders in Maafushi in the best way.

The staff is nice, the wifi is okay but not strong always, the breakfast was usually good, but there are so many flies around the eating and swimming areas. They should do something about that as it disrupts the entire experience. The massage was lovely but the spa is not a real, equipped spa, but rather one little empty hotel room. The don't have real coffee, but rather that cheap instant stuff, so everyday I'd have to go out and pay for coffee. The pool is tiny so it can get crowded and there are only 4 lounge chairs and they are hard as a rock. Putting cushions on them and offering beach towels for swimming would be nice. You need to come with quite a bit of cash because there is an extra charge if you pay with a credit card, which is inconvenient. They arrange boat transfer to and from the airport, which is helpful.

Booked room with balcony and got room on the terrace.
Ant and mosquitos around dinning area.
I booked candle night dinner, they promise to do decoration and provided menu to select but at the end of the moment they sever different menu.
After that they told sorry we couldn't arrange it.
They spoiled all the moment and time.
Worst experience ever.
I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.
Manager also irresponsible.

The rooms are cozy , there excursions are one of a kind got to swim with nurse sharks and stingrays ! After the trip got a Balinese spa at the In-house spa !
The dining is a must at the Aquzz !
