Convenience was main feature. Room adequate for 1 night stay.

I’m struggling with this review because the hotel is lovely, ideally located, and the staff all seemed very nice. BUT if you stay here please avoid room 301. I lost a night of sleep due to the street noise. A very loud garbage truck was right outside the room, a loud train was nearby early in the morning, and loud vehicles kept me up late at night. I told the front desk woman in the morning about the noise and she told me there are no trains nearby. I thought I was losing my mind- I swear I heard a train for about 20 minutes straight. Well lo and behold on our NC State tour we crossed over train tracks and the tour guide confirmed that yes- trains do run right there! So while I would not stay here again due to being a complete zombie for the next day I do appreciate that it’s indeed a lovely hotel. On a side note- my sister was in a different room and said it was completely quiet and amazing.

We had a great experience staying at Aloft Raleigh with our team. The staff was incredibly accommodating from start to finish and made the logistics of traveling with a large group feel seamless.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-suited for our team’s needs. The location was also really convenient, especially for getting to and from competition venues and meals.

We especially appreciated how helpful and responsive the staff was whether it was coordinating arrivals, handling small requests, or even following up on items left behind. That level of care doesn’t go unnoticed.

Overall, a really positive experience, and we’d absolutely look forward to staying here again in the future.

I come to this Aloft every year with a college track team. Thom has been an exceptional host and always works with us. We love staying here whenever we are in Raleigh!

Great location! Can't get closer to NC State. Lots of cool restaurants and shops within walking distance, and great parking. The rooms smell very clean and new, and it has great Wifi. The atmosphere is inviting and open, with games and a wrap-around patio in the lobby. The price was very reasonable. Very friendly front desk and bar staff. Will stay here again.

For the past five years, Aloft Raleigh has been the lodging host for our Building Future Faculty program at NC State University, welcoming more than 30 visiting scholars each year. I cannot say enough about the exceptional experience they consistently provide.

Guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms, reliable Wi-Fi, and the lively social spaces like the W XYZ® Bar and terrace overlooking campus, which provide perfect gathering spots for conversation and networking.

The staff members we work with year after year, Thom, Evie, and Savannah, are phenomenal. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail make our program feel welcomed and supported from the moment guests arrive. Coordinating lodging for large groups can be complex, yet they consistently make the process seamless. Their hospitality, responsiveness, and genuine care for our guests have made Aloft Raleigh an invaluable partner in delivering a positive experience for our program participants.

Our visiting scholars often remark on how comfortable they feel during their stay, and that sense of welcome is a direct reflection of the team’s commitment to service.

As an NC State alum, Aloft is my go-to place to stay when I come to town to visit. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and quiet, the staff are so kind and helpful, and the view of the bell tower is the best (especially when it’s lit up red). The location is great for trips to tour or visit NC State, central enough to be convenient for visits to go to a concert or Hurricanes game, check out the local museums, and there’s many amazing spots nearby for coffee, food, fun, or for drinks. The bar on-site is amazing and the bartender Robin is excellent. 10/10 would recommend for anyone coming to visit Ralz!

The rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. Everything felt well maintained and easy, which is exactly what you want.

The staff really made the stay. They were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Check in was smooth, our questions were answered quickly, and you could tell they genuinely care about guests having a good experience.

The location is perfect, right across from the belltower; you can even hear them chime! Easy walks to all of the restaurants and bars on Hillsborough Street.

Great spot, great team, and a very convenient place to stay. We would definitely book again.

What a great place to stay! Everybody was so courteous. The place was so clean. I’m just fine convenient to my daughter’s college as well.

In my occupation I frequently host domestic and international guests, my first choice for lodging is always Aloft. It has a fantastic location, near to shopping, dining, and NC State campus. More importantly, the staff is responsive, flexible, and kind. They proactively make every visit as comfortable and memorable as possible.

Amazing stay! The rooms were clean and the beds were incredibly soft and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly, so personable, and truly made me feel welcome. The made-to-order breakfast options were delicious, and the downtown area was super walkable. Plus, the view of the NC State Bell Tower was amazing. What’s not to love? I’ll absolutely be staying here again.
