Pros:

We were upgraded to a deluxe room with lake view. The room is clean and spacious with mini bar, air con, large TV and a super big bathroom. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He offered our driver accommodation and meal during the stay.

The location is not the best, around 15-min drive from Dambulla. Not a problem for us as we hired a car throughout the trip. The hotel is very quiet and relaxing thanks to its location.

The only downside is that we waited for close to an hour for our dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

Posto bello e tranquillo, peccato per gli insetti!
Pros:

Il posto è molto bello poichè situato proprio sull riva di un lago o una laguna. La strada per raggiungerlo è totalmente sterrata e come posizione è un po' lontano dal centro. Le camere e il bagno sono molto spaziosi e in generale piuttosto pulite, l'unico problema sono gli insetti (soprattutto formiche e alcune enormi blatte) a cui loro non prestano attenzione ma per chi non è abituato possono dare molto fastidio. Purtroppo alcuni insetti si trovano anche nella sala del ristorante! Il cibo comunque non è male e le porzioni sono piuttosto abbondanti. La pulizia delle camere avviene soltanto se si lascia la chiave alla reception altrimenti, quando tornerete dalla vostra gita, troverete tutto come avete lasciato, insetti morti compresi!

Great view, Kind staff, and wonderful meals!
Pros:

1. The lakeside view was great.
2. Every meals were excellent and impressive! Thanks for the chef!
3. Every staffs were really kind.
4. It's hard to find the location at the first time, but it's not far from Dambulla downtown & Sigiriya.
