Pros:

The bed was very nice and comfortable. The receptionist was also very understanding during checkout, and they allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours afterward, which was a huge plus.

Cons:

- Plumbing Nightmare: The shower drain was clogged and flooded instantly. Maintenance came but left a huge mess without fixing anything. Both the sink and shower drains are still backed up. They just used a manual plunger to put on a show of "trying."
- Disappointing Food: Our booking included breakfast and dinner. Dinner was a fixed menu with no drinks included, and it tasted like microwaved leftover food. Note that you cannot get these included meals via room service—in-room dining costs extra. The dinner was so poor that we chose to skip breakfast entirely to avoid another bad meal.

My second stay and another great experience
Pros:

This was my second stay at Burgu Arjaan by Rotana, and once again, I had a very good experience. It's always nice to return to a hotel and find the same consistent level of service and hospitality.

The location is not close to Istanbul's main tourist areas, so I wouldn't necessarily choose it if your priority is sightseeing around Sultanahmet, Taksim, or the European side. However, Maltepe was exactly where I needed to be, so the location was perfect for my purpose.

The hotel has more of a hotel-apartment setup, which makes it particularly convenient for longer stays or for guests who prefer more space and home-style facilities. I also noticed that it seems to be a popular choice for guests visiting Istanbul for medical tourism, and I can understand why the apartment-style accommodation makes a longer or more comfortable stay much easier.

The staff are one of the hotel's strongest points. They are friendly, professional, and always very helpful whenever you need assistance. Overall, my experience has been consistently good on both of my stays, and I would happily return whenever I need to stay in the Maltepe area.

Cons:

Nothing significant. I had another pleasant and comfortable stay and didn't experience any particular issues worth mentioning. The location may not suit travelers visiting Istanbul mainly for the tourist attractions, but for my purpose, it was exactly what I needed.

Pas un 5 étoiles
Pros:

L’hotel est bien placé avec le métro à côté (200m).
La piscine intérieure et extérieure.
Le hammam et le spa.
Le lave linge séchant dans la chambre.
Les chambres étaient assez spacieuses et le ménage était fait tous les jours
L’enviromment extérieur, il y a plusieurs magasins pour faire les courses A101, Carrefour Mini etc.. et un marché à 500m de l'hôtel les lundis

Cons:

J'ai sejourné 1 semaine du 26 juillet au 1er août.
L'hôtel est affiché comme étant un 5* mais en réalité il en vaut 4 voire 3.
Les photos sur booking sont juste des photos commerciales, la réalité est différente surtout pour les chambres
Les chambres méritent d'être rafraîchies. Il y a une odeur de renfermé et de tabac dès qu'on est entré dans la chambre et dans le couloir de notre étage malgré que c'était une chambre non fumeur.
Le canapé est tout écaillé et il y avait plein de taches sur le canapé. Heureusement que j'avais un plaid pour couvrir l'assise.
La salle de bain présente des traces de moisissures assez prononcées.
Les meubles du salon ont pas mal vieillis aussi.
Le petit dejeuner était assez varié mais rien d'exceptionnel. Gros bémol sur les boissons que ce soit le jus d'orange, pomme ou ananas qui étaient imbuvable avec un goût très chimique.
Le buffet du soir était très limité 4-5 plats pareil pour les entrées et qq fruits. Un bouteille d'eau par personne et si vous voulez une boisson c'est payant.
J'avais réservé cet hôtel pour le club enfant, grosse déception. C’est juste une salle à côté de l'entrée de la piscine intérieure avec 4 tables et des chaises ikea pour faire du coloriage.
Après ce qui était le plus déroutant pour mes enfants et moi c'était que l’hotel a un partenariat avec Clinichub et du coup on côtoyait sans cesse des personnes qui sortaient d'opération du nez, lifting, BBL ou autres...avec des gros bandages et pansements. Mes enfants étaient assez surpris au départ mais on finit par s'habituer.
Au final si vous choisissez cet hôtel pour le côté familial, il n'est pas du tout adapté.

Very good hotel with good services!
Pros:

Perfect clean hotel with kind staff. Good breakfast and delicious dinner. A little far from the downtown but very good metro connection.
Shops, restaurants close to the hotel.
