Courtyard by Marriott Auburn

Didn’t have any breakfast

Clean...very clean, staff very nice. Decent amenities....size of the room was good as it was just 2 of us...it's Marriott so the price was about right or what you would expect. Its also in a good quiet location not too far from the University and minutes away from one of the state parks. I enjoyed it, would recommend it, and would return.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff but we found nail clippings and cereal crumbs in the bed so I think the place is not cleaned thoroughly and not checked by mgmt
Also we couldn’t get the room we reserved bc it wasn’t cleaned that day and instead got another room that only appeared clean on the surface

My tv didn’t work and I already unpacked my stuff so moving rooms wasn’t an option

The property looks good, and our room was okay but not clean. There were a pair of dirty socks and a napkin by the bed, and the areas around the TV, door handle, and glass table were dirty, as if something had been spilled and left to dry.

I heard EVERYTHING from next door. The walls were very thin. I did not rest/sleep at all….wasted stop.

Person who checked me in was extremely nice and helpful

It had a great lobby and work area to sit on your computer etc. Nice atmosphere. Would be nice to have some gratis snacks or cookies for hotel staying patrons. Otherwise a nice overall hotel.

It was a great place to stay, and all of the Staff were professional and friendly.

Was in town for a graduation ceremony and the host planned us to stay at the courtyard Marriott in Auburn.
It was actually a delightful experience. Hotel is in a great location and they have an actual Starbucks store in the lobby

The rooms are nice. Bed was comfortable so what more could you ask for?
But what struck me the most is how incredibly professional, friendly and helpful the staff was at the front desk when you check in.

These ladies know all about hospitality and made our trip that much better!

A run down property. Staff not available upon check-out.

There was only one staff member in the lobby when we checked in. When he checked us in didn’t talk to us at all. I told him my name and he said “card for incidentals” and then handed me 2 room keys with the room number on it, that was the extent of the interactions.
There wasn’t any coffee or water in the lobby as the hotel description said. When I asked about it I was told I could buy some from the Starbucks counter, that happened to be unstaffed. The room was average, it was clean but not particularly special. When we checked out the next morning we went down to find the “made to order breakfast” and found nothing. So I’m not sure what that was all about. Overall I was pretty disappointed.
