Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Union Bluff Hotel and Meeting House. We stayed in the main house, and our room had a view of the ocean, and faced east, so we could see the sun rise over the ocean. The room was clean, the shower had plenty of hot water, and the room rate included a complimentary breakfast, which we hadn't realized at first. We stayed 2 nights, and the first night we ate in the pub, the food was good and servings were generous. On check in, we were given a card worth $10 off the bill (excluding alcohol) if you spent $50 or more.

Some of our comments for possible improvement would be:
The bed was very high - some petite/short guests might benefit from a step stool.
The door has 2 locks, and key holes, but the room key only works on the door knob lock, which does open the door. This caused some confusion at first. Front desk staff may want to clarify with guests.
Some of the outlets seemed to by synced to light switch by front door, so it first appeared that outlets weren't working. Signage would probably help.
That said, we will be definitely be going back, and may check out rooms in the meeting house.

Pros:

A beautiful, spotless hotel with an incredible sunrise view. The staff are very friendly, the location is excellent, and everything is impeccably clean. I highly recommend it.

Pros:

I toured Alcatraz and the rooms there were bigger than the room we had. I caugt go on put will not bore you with details. I will not be going back ever it is not nice.. SUFFICE TO SAY DO NOT GO HERE

Kindness!!
Pros:

Kindness personified! We are renting a condo just steps from the hotel when a nor’easter was due. We were worried about sea water flooding our cars and their staff allowed us to park on their hill behind the hotel to be safe! They didn’t need to do this, but they are compassionate people! The pub food is great! We cannot thank you all enough!

Pros:

The Union Bluff was amazing. Everyone was so sweet and professional. The room was clean and gorgeous, hated to come home! Views of the beach, sunrises, sunsets, and just all around great time. We loved the Grill/Pub too, Devin you get 5 Stars from us just being you! Thank you for sharing in our special night. Best Bartender and Server ever!!!! Thank you

The view was great and the folks at the front desk were very helpful. The bed and the new linen were great

Cons:

Door to the deck was missing a screen so we could not hope the door and enjoy the sound of the ocean. Pillows on the chairs were dirty and looked 20 years old.

Good location but there are better accommodations in the area for the price
Pros:

Location was great. Being able to walk to the touristy section of York was nice. This made it so we didn't have to use our car as many times as we have during previous stays in the area. Dinner pricing was what we expected.

Cons:

Pricing on some of the breakfast items was expensive. Parking during events isn't considerate of hotel guests and guests are not notified that parking could be an issue. Expensive for what is available. No pool.

LOVED the location proximity to the beach. Beach was very beautiful, clean, and sandy.

Cons:

There was nothing that we did not like about this property. Except…we were told there were no lord rooms to extend our stay another night. Later checked online and there were several 🤷‍♀️
