Pros:

Heel vriendelijk personeel!!!gezellig hotel, mooie kamer en geweldig bed...zo jammer dat we heel vroeg weg moesten ..maar het lekkere ontbijt maakte dat weer goed!!

Liebevolle Details und professioneller Service, freundliche Menschen, kreative und inspirierend.
Pros:

Das Nomad ist außergewöhnlich liebevoll gestaltet. Viele Details zeigen das.
Die Zimmer sind freundlich, groß, hell und einladend. Es gibt Pflanzen, eine liebevolle Bücherauswahl, genügend Steckdosen und Haken, wo man sie braucht. Ein Balkon, freundliches Personal, alles wunderbar :)

Perfect stay at the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel Basel

Wonderful stay at the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel

I stayed at the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel from September 14–16, 2026, and had a wonderful experience.

I had requested a quiet room and was given a room facing the courtyard, which was perfect. I slept extremely well – the mattress and linen bedding were wonderful. The room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and the Dyson fan was a great extra.

I also really appreciated the small coffee station on my floor, with Nespresso coffee, a selection of teas, and bottles that could be refilled with still or sparkling water. A very thoughtful and practical touch.

The bathroom was beautifully designed with a lovely oriental touch. The shower was excellent, and the large, soft towels, slippers and comfortable bathrobe were perfect after a long day or a visit to the sauna. The L’Occitane toiletries were another lovely detail.

The reception team was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was also able to leave my luggage at the hotel until the evening and collect it after my event before leaving Basel, which was very convenient.

The location is excellent, with tram and bus stops just around the corner. I also really appreciated receiving the BaselCard, which included public transport and various discounts for museums, the zoo, theatre and sightseeing.

Breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied and beautifully presented. The coffee was great, and the bar and restaurant areas are very stylish. The restaurant team was also very friendly and attentive.

All in all, I had a wonderful stay and have already recommended the hotel to several people I met at my event. I would be happy to stay at the Nomad again!

Very average stay and awful design
Pros:

Very nice restaurant, good breakfast, good location

Cons:

Absolutely awful design, you can not open the window, no fridge in the room, the elevator stopped working on the second day

Top location, very clean and very friendly staff
Pros:

Excellent location, close to the city centre and the tram.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a kind of small but very clean.
The breakfast buffet was exceptional for such a small hotel.
We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
