Charming hotel with great location
Pros:

Wonderful Hotel and very helpful staff! Calm area close to the beach and a nice walk in to the city centre. The interior is a bit dated, but that is only part of the charm! Astounding view of the sea. Spent four nights at the hotel and would definitely stay here again when visiting Bournemouth.

Pros:

Wanted to take our car keys which definitely was not happening I pretty much had to walk side ways to get into the room and attitude changed when we refused to give the car keys great location but definitely wouldn't be staying there again

Sea views and good location
Pros:

Fabulous location with sea views, beautiful gardens overlooking the sea and a few mins walk to the beach, just 10 mins from the pier.
Although the hotel is very dated in decor, you’re really paying for the view and great hospitality. The building has a beautiful Victorian staircase, and a traditional feel.
The room was functional but needs updating. Shame there were no toiletries other than hand soap in the bathroom. A little shampoo could be included in the room rate.
Free parking and ample space in the Carpark. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extra but very nice and sustained us for the day. I’d stay again.
Great location and hospitality!

Hotel de médio padrão.
Pros:

As pessoas prestativas e educadas.

Pleasant stay at Hotel Riviera
Pros:

Pleasant hotel . Very small car park but staff were very helpful in helping me park. Breakfast was good , I ate out in the evening , only 10 minutes walk to a number of restaurants.
Will find was decent and although compact , the room and bathroom were fine.

Don't expect a Palace
Pros:

I paid £24, so I wasn't expecting a palace. I didn't get one. The building is old and tired - I've no problem with that, I use an old building in Berlin regularly. The stud walls used to split up the old rooms meant I could hear people in adjoining rooms to my left, and I could also hear people upstairs.
The TV didn't work properly, and the wi-fi didn't work at all.

I need to be back in Southampton / Bournemouth soon, but have no plans to return to this hotel - but again, £24 vs over £100 in Southampton when I was booking
