Clean, well appointed apartment. Good breakfast provided at the golf clubhouse. Convenient for golf, tennis and padel. Good supermarket on site. Good views of golf course, sea and Gomera. Good restaurants on site.

Pools are very nice. Huge area with a quiet and relaxing vibe.
At first the bed of our room was not very clean. But the staff quickly switched us to a better room. Overall well handled.

A few basic but essential things in the apartment and complex didn’t work, which took some time (and a lot of follow-up) to fix. Despite this, the property take a 500 euro deposit on arrival which I was told was «written on all booking documents». If it was, I have yet to see it.
The property is very isolated and a car is essential if you want to get anywhere. If not, taxis to the nearest town are 40 euros each way, as well as being very difficult to get. No local taxi apps or delivery services work at this location.
The reception staff seemed stressed and fed up, probably because reception was often packed, with irritated and complaining guests. (Everyone asking for taxis mostly!)
There seemed to be a «hierarchy» of how guests were treated. Another guest and I observed that some guests and families were offered cava and snacks on arrival and check in, while others were basically ignored and treated with indifference. When checking out, I was not asked about my stay.
Some staff barely spoke a word of english. One understands that Spanish needs to be learned when living in Spain. But to work at a 5 Star holiday resort and struggle to understand the guests is ridiculous.
None of this would be so annoying if we had stayed in a less expensive resort. But when they are charging these prices (900 euros per night for room only) then the last thing one expects is this kind of experience and shoddy service. It wasn’t relaxing or particularly enjoyable, it was chaos.
Very bad experience. First, they tried to charge me extra, but after I sent my booking confirmation, they realised it was their mistake. I could not get hold of the reception for almost 24 hours, as no one was responding. On one occasion, the receptionist even hung up the call during the conversation.
In addition, my room key card was not working, and it took almost two hours for them to fix the issue, as every new card they issued also failed. Breakfast was very poor.
Based on my experience, I do not believe the 9+ rating on Booking.com reflects the real service quality.
