Lovely location, beautiful grounds and view from out room. Comfortable bed, staff very accommodating and breakfast was good.
The room was quite loud with traffic being close to the main road. luckily I had earplugs as I am a light sleeper but I can imagine without them I would have been awake a lot earlier.
The showerhead had red spots on, needs a bit of a clean.
Breakfast was great, and lots of gluten free. Sausages were delicious. It was crazy that we couldn't find any where a menu for the room so we didn't eat there in the evening
It's just a basic no frills hotel . Staff were nice and accommodating, helpful too. Cleaned room nicely every day

Lift was broken so had to carry my bags up three flights of stairs.
This is a fantastic hotel that I have stayed in twice. It is well designed, clean, spacious and offers ample free parking. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I particularly like the games room that offers a free pool table for a little after dinner gamesmanship with accompanying friends.
Everything about this hotel is top notch except the food. Because of early starts I have not eaten breakfast which I am told is very good. However the two evening meals I've had from a limited menu have both been tasty but in small portions, under or overcooked, and for me, not good value for money. It won't stop me staying here again but I'll go out to eat which isn't terribly convenient as there is nowhere within walking distance.
Location , the country setting is gorgeous and the addition of seating and lights out the front is so welcoming
Only one thing - the smell of drains ? Or old cleaning water ? Not sure , however as soon as you walk in and throughout the hotel the smells stay and then in the room overnight and the morning the smell stays …….

Very tired decor. Needs repaint. Was an event on which was loud with guests screaming in smoking areas till late.
Room was really clean hotel clean breakfast good value would come back again ask for a garden room next time due to road noise

Only 1 towel in room for 2 people. Bath blocked. Bed uncomfortable.
