Cons:

De badkamer was vies. Er zaten gele randen in de douche. Het was een klein oncomfortabel hokje. In de gootsteen liep het water niet weg. Er staat een klein straalkacheltje in de kamer. De stoelen waren vies. De prijs kwaliteitverhouding is zeer slecht. Kamer 5 ligt aan de straatkant en er is enkelglas. De eerste nacht hebben wij totaal niet kunnen slapen. Er stond iemand tegen de deur te schoppen en in kamer 5 hoor je alles vanaf de straat.

Shower didn’t work properly. Water went warm for 30 seconds then constantly changed between scolding hot and freezing cold.
Cannot fill kettle up in the room as it is too bulky to fit within the toilet sink for the tap.

Ann, la padrona, è stata incredibile. Dopo aver segnalato un problema nella stanza assegnatami, si è prodigata per trovare un'altra soluzione, cambiando stanza. Inoltre è stata molto gentile nel dare suggerimenti su posti da vedere in città. Anche la signora della caffetteria è stata favolosa, mettendo sempre a proprio agio, preparando tutto con cura

Unfortunately we did not like our stay here. It was sold as a deluxe room. Leaking toilet. Screws all over the place and dirty carpets. I spent 20 mins adjust the door closers just so me and my wife could walk in and out safely.

Comfortable rooms within a 15-20 minute walk of the university and key Liverpool attractions
Pros:

Rooms were comfortable and clean, and in a great location to explore the city.

Cons:

Some things in need of maintenance (e.g. broken shower rail, so the shower had to be hand held, and the bathroom sink was slow to drain). But overall, the room was comfortable had everything we needed.

Not as good as last time
Pros:

We raved so much about this hotel when we stayed the same time last year that we couldn't wait to return. This time it was different. Room 10 was warm and comfortable and perfectly adequate; its location, however, right next to the staircase, meant you could hear any guests walking up. The bathroom looked great, but the hot water tap was almost impossible to turn on; it had to be held in place, as otherwise, it rotated completely round. We did inform reception, but nothing was done, nor did they suggest we relocate to another room. The shower was equally in need of attention. Apart from water spraying all over the place and wetting the floor, it was impossible to turn it off completely and therefore, it dripped all night. We had to ensure the door to the bathroom was closed during the night so that it didn't disturb us. We ate here on both nights and enjoyed the food, which was reasonably priced. The staff were very nice in the restaurant area. Would I stay here again, of course. Perfect location, close to the town centre, free parking, fridge in the room, coffee machine, and comfortable bed. We just struck unlucky with the room this time. Will be more picky next time we stay
