The setting. It was beautiful, peaceful. I like the woody cottage like concept.
It felt like a good get-away from the city, while still being in the city.
Bed was comfy. No outside noise.

It was the best hotel stay
I wanted to extend my stay, hence played with the booking.com app requesting for extension but i received no reply....so it was booking.com that i found not helpful at all and was not prompt with response. Perhaps improve on that? Wonder why was there such option for communication if, no one from your end going to respond?
The hotel receptionist assisted eventually
I appreciate the hotel is low cost compared to a European hotel, but it was not clean, especially the bathroom. There was no toilet paper, the shower was filthy with mould growing and the safe did not work. Very disappointing really.

An excellent place, everything was shaping up fine - except the receptionist asked to keep my passport overnight, and when I left early to catch a train, there was a different receptionist, no note had been left on my packaged breakfast, remembered too late for a return trip to the hotel, missed my train - it cost me well over a million to get to Bandung that day ...shame really. THERE SHOULD BE NO REQUEST TO LEAVE YOUR PASSPORT IN ANY MODERN HOTEL !!

The location is good, walkable distance from the train station. The staff were very helpful with us arranging transport to Malang as the trains were fully booked. Good sized room with small desk.
Be aware the hotel bottom levels are still under construction. Reception is on the 3rd floor.
There were banging noises during the night (not sure what they were).
We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the railway station as we had to catch a train early morning. We enjoyed the fact that it was located in a quiet street and we could rest in the night. In spite of renovations the hotel was undergoing in that period our stay was comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
The room could be bigger.
The location was superb. Close to shopping malls, cafés and to the main railway station which was only a 15-min walk.
Upon arrival I realised that the hotel was under renovation. First I thought it was closed. The security lad said the entrance was through the garage and reception was on the 2nd floor. You could hear the maintenance work during late hours too.

Stained towels and bed sheets, no hairdryer, lobby floor was in renovation so we had to access the hotel through the basement.

Hotel is a well located budget option. Rooms are a bit tired but have everything you need. Main gripe is that they don't include breakfast even though it is advertised as such
