Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis: Bei einem solchen Preis pro Nacht entsprach der Zustand des Zimmers in keiner Weise den berechtigten Erwartungen an den beworbenen 4-Sterne-Standard.
Zustand des Zimmers: Obwohl das Zimmer oberflächlich gereinigt war, wies das Inventar erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren auf. Das Mobiliar war stellenweise stark abgenutzt und der Teppichboden wies unsaubere Schnittkanten auf, die laienhaft verarbeitet wirkten. Das gesamte Interieur vermittelte baulich und materiell einen stark verwohnten Eindruck.
Schallisolierung: Die Fenster zur Seite des Vrijthof boten eine unzureichende Schalldämmung, sodass der Straßenlärm deutlich im Zimmer zu hören war und die Nachtruhe beeinträchtigte.
Service vor Ort: Als ich die Mängel abends persönlich reklamieren wollte, war die Rezeption unbesetzt und auch nach längerer Wartezeit nicht besetzt worden. Das Servicepersonal im direkt angrenzenden Restaurantbereich nahm von uns als wartenden Hotelgästen keine Notiz und stand als Ansprechpartner nicht zur Verfügung.
Beschwerdemanagement: Eine spätere sachliche und bebilderte Reklamation der objektiven Abnutzungserscheinungen wurde vom Hotelmanagement pauschal abgewiesen. Die materiellen Mängel wurden schlichtweg zur "subjektiven Wahrnehmung" deklariert. Eine kundenorientierte oder professionelle Lösungsfindung seitens der Hoteldirektion fand zu keinem Zeitpunkt statt.
