Love the building and small details that make it cozy.
Pros:

It was unique, clean and so comfortable. Bathroom was huge, and bathrobes are a nice touch. Location was excellent. We walked to the river, We walked to coffee, Amtrak is very near.

Cons:

We did not have a problem with the narrow stairs, it is an old building so that is the type of thing that makes it special

Pros:

I loved the quaintness and their restaurant right next door. The room and bedding was so comfortable and loved that they had magazines/books and a radio in the room with a little fireplace.

We had a nice stay in a very comfortable room that had historic charm and warmth.
Pros:

The room was cozy and the bed comfortable. Nice location. Staff was great!

Cons:

The stairs. We were on the third floor. We didn’t realize the hotel didn’t have an elevator. Also several boards had nails that were exposed going into the bathroom. The tub needed some bars; difficult even for people that weren’t handicap.

Terrific trip to the Hudson Valley

We stayed at Wm Farmer and Sons, and it truly felt like a warm, welcoming haven. The two-bedroom apartment we rented was spacious and perfect for our family trip, making us feel right at home. The staff and restaurant were also wonderful, adding to our pleasant experience. We definitely look forward to returning.
