If you are looking for something a bit different, give the Vagabond a go.
Pros:

The Vagabond was a bit eccentric and not normal - which was just what we were looking for. It provided great accommodation with some great visual elements that made staying an experience. The staff were professional and ready to assist, which was appreciated.

Cons:

The location, while not all that bad, was a bit of a problem as I recently hurt my leg and walking was an issue. If my leg was better, I'm sure the location would have not been an issue.

Pros:

The live jazz was amazing, the cocktails were great. Check in was smooth and the bed in the room was super comfy.

Cons:

Waited a little while to be acknowledged when sitting in the bar for a drink.

Pros:

Amazing staff, beautiful one of a kind room, great a-la-carte breakfast options, very good location, very close to Kampong Glam and Little India.

Pros:

It was so stylish and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly helpful. We arrived very early and they kindly accommodated us. Our executive lounge access was amazing and very generous. Am hugely impressed at such good value for money

Style over substance. Cramped room, and no club lounge access. Very disappointing.
Pros:

Quirky hotel in a great location next to Little India and Kampung Glam. Interesting public areas. Very good breakfast.

Cons:

Room was tiny - we're not big people but couldn't both walk round the bed side by side. inadequate storage - no drawer space to speak of and not enough room to store 2 (medium) suitcases.
Main disappointment was the fact that I booked a room with club lounge access with complimentary cocktails and snacks but when I asked about this at the hotel I was told they no longer do it, so the nature of the booking was misrepresented.. I would not have booked the hotel if I'd known this

Eclectic property, great staff, good location.
Pros:

Unique hotel with friendly staff. The lobby and bar area get a 5+ star rating. The rooms get a solid 4 stars. Rooms are basic, rather small and somewhat dark. The location is good for getting to Little India and Chinatown, and just a 5 minute walk to the MRT station.

Decor was interesting. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were great.

Cons:

Room was tiny! Small even compared to New York, London and Paris. A bit of a walk to the nearest MRT. Walking back to the hotel late at night, the area around the hotel didn’t feel like a great neighbourhood.
