Will avoid Harris hotels and won’t recommend it to anyone.
Pros:

The only good point of this hotel is the location. However, there are many other hotels in the area which means location is not really the competitive advantage.

Cons:

Everything else is bad. First, the hotel should only accept guests who are smokers. The so called non-smoking room is not free from cigarette smoke and smell. They claimed the room I stayed was a non-smoking room on the non-smoking floor, but the room smells the cigarette smokes all the 3 nights I stayed there. My complaint was basically ignored. They kept saying the room was a non-smoking one. I assume that any room in the hotel can be occupied by both smoker and non-smoker guests . In general the premise is dirty and hot. The breakfast taste and food variety is bad too.

-bebau rokok yang sangat menyengat keluar dari hotel rambut memang sangat bebau rokok sbb environment hotel tersebut bebau rokok, minta req tuka bilit sudah call cakap okay tpi tak tuka tuka
-sangat kecewa kolam kotor.cakap kolam/rooftop tutup 9 mlm tapi hakikatnya samapi 6 -7 petng shja
-cadar tilam ada kesan kuning (honest review bukn fake or scammer) tak ada ambik gambar sbb sangat kecewa dgn hotel ini

Pros:

The bed was very soft, relative to other hotels I’ve stayed in it is very clean, little run down but fine. I like they have filtered water.

Cons:

The television is one where you need to register and sign in to watch which is really annoying. There was a mosquito in room that got me a few times which was a first.

Great staff
Pros:

The hotel is just average but we were impressed by the waiter, Amad serving breakfast. He showed great professionalism for his work, friendly, helpful despite there was language barrier. He adds a lot of marks to the hotel.

Pros:

Thank you Hotel Harris for your hospitality. All of the staff members that we interacted with were friendly, professional, and have the best customer service skills. We loved the long pillows called guling. The room set up is simple, but it is cozy and clean. We will definitely stay at Harris Hotel again whenever Pontianak is calling.
