Pity you can’t rely upon any customer service restaurant.
Restaurant facilities found wanting. Inedible fish and chips returned.
Waitress evidently told the kitchen, nothing came back by way of an apology or an offer of alternative.
Had to ask for the meal to be removed from the bill.
I liked the character of Carriages. Two very enjoyable and comfortable evenings at the bar. Food and staff excellent. Good availability of inside and outside seating, especially in this hot weather.

Dinner was good, seemed quick popular. The room was clean and the AC was quiet and proformed well

Bit too far out of centre for us
The hotel ( although more of a motel ) had air conditioned rooms which was very welcome. I asked if the room had a super king bed and was told it didn’t. It did actually have a super king bed so I’m surprised the receptionist didn’t know that.
The room was small and the wardrobe in a very awkward place. The bathroom was also very small and a little bit dirty but not too bad. The food in the evening was mediocre although the plates were hot which made a nice change. The breakfast was poor.
