Great place to stay, particularly in the hot weather.
Pros:

Air con in the room! Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast in their onsite restaurant.

Pros:

aircon and bed lovely/hotel needs a refurb/cleanliness acceptable/ carvery very poor quality of beef- ruined it/ pudding delicious and food coming out to other people who had ordered off menu looked alot better/ air con in restaurant needed/ photos on website misleading- you think you are in the country not in the town itself/ staff lovely- all staff from reception to bar and cooks and waiting staff

Pros:

Spotlessly clean. Very comfy bed. Good shower and room facilities.

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough really considering it was 34 degrees outside. We couldn’t turn it down anymore and there are no fans. I would of liked the air conditioning to get colder.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Pros:

From booking in at reception all of the staff at the hotel were extremely polite, helpful, attentive and kind. The room was clean and tidy and had everything that we needed for our stay. The food was wonderful from breakfast through to dinner.
We will definitely return to this hotel.

Cons:

There was nothing that we didn't like.

Fantastic stay
Pros:

Friendly and helpful staff room was fantastic and well equipped food was fantastic and bar staff and waitress very helpful and friendly wonderful atmosphere throughout will definitely be visiting again

Nice spot just enough out of town and a bit closer to the motorway. Great that we had other plans while we were in Exete
Pros:

I wish we had got a downstairs room as my partner had a bad knee

Cons:

The food at the adjoining pub stopped serving as we arrived in the afternoon. After a 5 hour drive that was disappointing. Also the bathroom was v small. 2 people could not be in it at the same time!

Pros:

Vorgarten und Restaurantausstattung sind sehr ansprechend. Das Servicepersonal im Restaurant war sehr gut. An der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit. Mit dem Taxi ist man in 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt.

Cons:

Beim Frühstücksangebot gibt es noch Luft nach oben, das gleiche gilt für das Frühstückspersonal. Die Stufen zum Zimmer mit Koffer sind eine kleine Herausforderung.

Very disappointed.
Cons:

Bathroom had a lot of mold in the shower, room 117.
Noise from room above, I complained to reception and they checked and said they could not hear anything.
It went on most of the evening and started again at 6:30am.
Other residents parked outside our patio doors and left engine running. So I could not sit outside or leave doors open for fresh air.
A bus tour was booked in which meant we could not get a table in the restaurant as the whole restaurant was booked out. This was very disappointing as two evenings out of four we could not eat in the restaurant.
