Room didn’t match with the photos. I don’t recommend to anyone. Bathroom was dirty. Room was dirty and had a bad smell. Also there was a lot of sound coming from the outside

We didn’t realise when booking that there is no lift in the hotel. There are a lot of stairs and we had a heavy bag but got helped carrying it.
Not a lot of space in the room for a big bag.
Personally, I like a glass/container in the bathroom to put the toothbrush.

Das Wasser in unserem Waschbecken war anscheinend verstopft, es hat immer ewig gedauert bis das Wasser abgeflossen ist.

Das Zimmer war klein und Fenster lassen sich in diesem Hotel generell nicht öffnen. Da die Lüftung im Bad offenbar auch Gerüche anderer Räume eintrug, war es in der Nasszelle nicht so angenehm.
Etwas unkomfortabel und letztlich auch eine sinnlose Anordnung ist die Garderobenstange, die über dem Kühlschrank und dem Wasserkocher angebracht ist. Nur kurze Kleidungsstücke wie Bluse oder kurze Jacke können dort aufgehängt werden. Für die Garderobe von zwei Personen ist die Stange definitiv zu klein.
In anderen Zimmern ist das aber wohl besser gelöst.

Just something to be mindful of when booking: there doesn’t appear to be a lift. We were staying on the top floor and had light luggage, so this wasn’t an issue for us, but guests with larger or heavier luggage may want to bear in mind that it will need to be carried up the stairs.

Several things:
- steep stairs, no elevator. I would not go with heavy luggage or if not good on foot
- My room (a "classic room") was very tiny so there was no space to put luggage and possibilty to store clothes was very limited
- My room was facing the backyard but still it was very loud till 23:00 because there is an extremely noisy vent from a business below. Closing the windows made almost no difference because the windows are so low quality, they block no sound. While this is often the case in London it could definitely be improved by sound proofing the windows.
- I was on a business trip and needed an invoice. This turned out to be quite complicated. You pay in advance but can only get an invoice after Check-out. Further, they were only able to produce a "preview of the invoice", not the original invoice. So, if you need a proper fail-proof invoice this can be tricky with them
- After check-out they contacted me claiming a shelf in my room was damaged during my stay. The shelf was indeed damaged but already before I came. I told them. They accepted but never apologized for their accusations. So my recommendation to avoid such hassle is: when you check in, better report all damages in the room immediately and let them confirm in writing to be on the safe side. Maybe a bit like you would do for a rental car.
