I like that its close to main road and can easily get transport. I dont like the fact that on your website it says it had a gym but that was not the case! I also dont like the fact that breakfast is for 1 person when 2 people are booked into the room!!!
This was an awful stay and I would like to speak to someone at hotels.com.
amazing
Oakspring Hotel & Luxury Suites dose not have a shuttle service from the airport. When I got to Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos Nov. 19th, I was stranded. I tried to reach the hotel with the Hotel phone # on my print out to no avail. My nephew had to google the hotel name to get hotel local phone #. The front desk person could not find my Name in their system. I had to take a tax from the airport to the hotel and show the front desk person my print out, which have the hotel's name and numbers of nights I had already paid for before I left Canada. It was after I presented all these evidence that I was accommodated. I'm not sure I got appropriate accommodation.
I like the fact that the property is not too noisy. Didn't like the location of the property. If I did not have my print out with me, Oakspring Hotel & Luxury Suites will not have accommodated me 'cause my Name was not in their system. The Hotel staff knew nothing about me. They have no bus shuttle service from the Airport. IT WAS VERY BAD.
I was met at the airport even though my flight was late, but had to log in to Hotels.com to show the hotel that the airport transfer was complimentary.
The lift was not working.
No wine by glass available at the bar.
Room was good, bed comfortable, but my anticipated lie-in was cut short with a call from the kitchen at 7.15am asking what I wanted for breakfast!
Coffee was instant. Asked for fruit juice and a litre tetra-pack of orange juice was brought to the table. Later told that it was an extra charge! (N1,000)
In short, a reasonable hotel but let down by details that could easily be rectified by management. Friendly staff though.
