Su Tine San Royal Palace Hotel

Location was ideal to escape the hustle and dust of main town. Also right next to ancient temples with fabulous view. Top breakfast spacious rooms big comfy bed excellent friendly helpful staff. Woild love to stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel three times and always look forward to returning. The location is excellent just at the edge of New Bagan. It is a perfect hotel to return to after a long day of sightseeing the temples because it is quiet restful and has a beautiful pool. The staff and the manager are excellent very caring and always willing to help. The rooms are exceptionally large very clean and comfortable . We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again.

The accommodation fee is high, so please improve the following.

- Didn't come out hot water from the tap, so I could not soak in the hot bath.
And we caught a cold.

- The aging of facilities was outstanding.
For example broken tile, rusted metal fitting of drain outlet, etc.

- We had the same dish everyday because variations of buffet breakfast were few.

- Additional mattresses were left at the passage for a long time.

When I arrived at the hotel the staff member who dealt with me could not find my booking.
He asked me for evidence that I had made a booking. I showed the online information sent by expedia. Next, I was given an invoice. After explaining that I had paid already, my group was finally given the rooms we had booked. The check in took far too long, but after that things got better. My group had a pleasant stay. The staff were all friendly. The pool was great. The breakfast was ordinary, but acceptable considering the low off season room rate.

Water condition is terrible and sheets are not clean at all. However staffs are very nice.

This was our second time to stay here. The staff was excellent. They were courteous, always willing to help. The room was comfortable very clean and large. There is a beautiful pool and excellent dining room

The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. The view from the rooftop is magnificent. Rooms are large but not too comfortable. The hotel caters mainly to Chinese tourist and is a bit noisy. There are plumbing issues and some smells in the public areas of the hotel.

Its a new hotel. Rooms are pretty comfortable. Swimming pool area is too good. Specially for children there is a jacuzzy one. My daughter enjoyed a lot. The rooftop breakfast place is superb. Surroundings view is really cool, you can see the pagoda while taking breakfast.
Staffs are cooperative. You can select the hotel for Bagan.

Hotel is less pretty compared to the photos online. Staff is helpful and polite. Beds are a bit hard. Bathroom is somehow simple with furniture. Great location to see hot air ballons in the morning while enjoying breakfast.

Apart from the "North Korean" appearance, this hotel truly stole our hearts. Staff was incredible, breakfast was good! Rooms were clean, some walls could use a paint job. At times there was a smell coming from the bathroom, but that seems to be the case in all accommodations we have stayed at in Myanmar.

The rooms are spacious, and was comfortable to stay at for 3 nights. The area of Bagan is amazing, and just in front of the hotel you will find three beautiful ancient Pagoda's! It is about a 5 minute E-bike drive to downtown. Downtown you will have many choices for good restaurants.

We were upgraded to a two room suite, but there was no furniture in the sitting room. Nice big pool. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit far from the town.

Hotel. Made a mistake by giving me a double bed instead of 2 beds but they switched me to an upgraded room. The staff was helpful and friendly but at times it was a little difficult communicating with them. The manager spoke good English and was very efficient in getting things done. Breakfast was okay but I would have liked a better selection of western style breakfast options.

We stayed two nights and were very satisfied with the hotel.The reception staff are very friendly although some are not so competent in English.The assistant Manager was helpful in booking a tour car and also in instructing the driver to take us to the main pagodas' sites.
The rooftop view of nearby pagodas from the breakfast seating is impressive.
The hotel is situated slightly away from the main restaurants belt which can be reached by a short walk.
Overall, we had quite a pleasant stay in this place.Only draw back was , they could not exchange USD into local currency for us although they displayed an official exchange rate at the reception counter.

Great value- nice room, awsome buffet breakfast with temple view, good service. (Free and good baby crib) Restaurant food was delecious but it is pricy, same quality is third of their price only few blocks away. Laundry service is ridiculosly expensive ( $3 a piece while few blocks away is less than 10 cents per piece). Driver and ebike prices were good. Overall, this is a good choice for Bagan, just eat and laundry somewhere else.

Way overpriced. Also I stayed on New Year's Eve and the hotel didn't tell me it was throwing a party for staff. Consequently my room sounded like I was in a nightclub. It went on until 1am - unacceptable.

The next morning the manager was kind but couldn't offer me any money back as I'd pre-paid.

The hotel was double the price of anything else i stayed in in Myanmar, and the room didn't even have a window! Nice enough but not spectacular enough to justify the price.

New hotel on the outskirts of New Bagan. Lovely friendly staff. Very nice big swimming pool. Rooms good size but bed sheets don't fit bed which is a little annoying. Breakfast average for Myanmar.

The carved wood and gold paint lavished on this new property in the public spaces will appeal to some. Well staffed. Welcoming and helpful staff. Beautiful pool. Strangely empty during our three day stay, resulting in ten minutes+ with both bathroom sink and tub taps running full bore before hot water would arrive. Another hotel room safe not bolted down. Could have put it in my suitcase and rolled it away. Good food. Never figured out why two showers in the bathroom --- the expected one over the tub and the other next to the toilet with no barrier, so it would soak everything. Great reading lights over the bed but dark over the desk.
