Pros:

We stayed at Historical Goreme House for several nights – including New Year’s Eve – and it turned out to be one of the warmest and coziest places of our entire trip around Cappadocia.
The hotel is genuinely lovely. Very atmospheric, with the feeling of a home rather than just “a place to stay.” The breakfasts were amazing – generous, delicious, and truly home-style, made with care.
We had a room with a jacuzzi – and it honestly lived a whole little life with us 😄
More than one bottle of Turkish wine was enjoyed there, more than a kilogram of mandarins and lokum was eaten, all in a complete sense of comfort and warmth.
The staff deserve a special mention. Friendly, lively, and genuinely kind people. They helped us organize an экскурсия, explained everything, gave tips, and were around exactly as much as needed – never intrusive, but sincerely attentive.
There was one moment that initially disappointed us. We chose this hotel for New Year largely because of the fireplace – in the Booking photos of our room it looked like a working one. Of course, we dreamed of lighting it on New Year’s Eve. But once we arrived, we were told that the fireplace is now more decorative and not actually functional.
Yes, in the moment it slightly broke the expectation. But honestly, later it stopped mattering at all.
Because we ended up welcoming the New Year on the main square in Göreme – among people, lights, cold air, laughter, and a very vivid sense of the moment. It was noisy, unexpected, real, and incredibly fun.
Sometimes a place gives you not what you planned, but what you later remember with a smile.
And this New Year was exactly one of those 🎄✨

Pros:

The property is very nice and clean. The staff are amazing so helpful furkan, mehmet and the guy with long hair :) as well as the lady in the kitchen. Also the location very good and near from everything. Due to a misunderstanding they offer me a free shuttle to the airport. Thanks a lot

Faciliteiten in de kamer waren super goed..! Heerlijke zwembad niet te koud gewoon om te genieten, het is niet de grootste zwembad maar toch heerlijk om even erin te kunnen. sauna werkte ook perfect.

Enige wat niet heel fijn was, de ingang is rechtstreeks bij de balie dus je hoort alles wat er gebeurt bij de balie inchecken uitchecken etc en natuurlijk anders om kunnen ze jou ook horen. Een extra deur of een wat meer geluid dichte deur had wel fijner geweest..

La posizione era perfetta, la stanza spaziosa e pulita. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad accontentare ogni nostra richiesta. Colazione ottima. C’è anche una terrazza all’ultimo piano per ammirare il panorama.

Cons:

Andrebbe solo aggiunto qualche appoggio in più per i vestiti in stanza, noi eravamo in4 e una poltrona era pochino.

La stanza non aveva a disposizione aria condizionata, ma solo un ventilatore. Non sono presenti finestre. La stanza presentava un odore acre (pareva odore di capra), che fuoriusciva dall’armadio di legno.
