OYO Hotel Mi casa, Oaxaca centro

I booked a reservation months in advance based on the location and pictures; at the time of booking it said rooms in the area were selling out fast or some locations had no rooms left for the dates I needed. The day I go to check in the hotel staff informs me that they are not honoring pre-paid reservations. They also informed me that the hotel has not been taking reservations via third parties for the previous two weeks. They informed me that there was rooms available but I would have to pay them directly and then I would get a refund through Expedia. The room and hotel didn’t look like the pictures and were not the cleanest. The room was possibly used as a storage since there was two older mattresses near the restrooms. The day came to check out and submitted my request for the refund via Expedia chat and was later emailed informing me that they can’t get a hold of the hotel property manager. I submitted photographic proof of the sign saying they were not honoring reservations and also provided a direct contact phone number for the person in charge of the hotel. I was once again told that they couldn’t process a refund. I called the hotel supervisor and informed them Expedia was not honoring my refund; he then informed me that the hotel itself used OYO properties in the past to confirm reservations but they were having issues with fees and payments through OYO; he suggested to tell Expedia to contact them. I have yet to be contacted regarding my refund!

Pues pasamos una noche pésima porque había bichos en la cama, así como cucarachas en el cuarto…. La verdad no me volvería a quedar ahí !!

Es un lugar comodo, la comida es una delicia, quería seguir comiendo sin parar, las hamburguesas una joyaaaaaaa, las tlayudas también, los chapulines fueron mi perdición, si quieres comer rico sin salir del hotel aquí es tu opción, el personal es muy amable, esta cerca del centro

The room was disgusting. It was really dirty, mold in the sink, grime, no hot water, fan was dusty and the tawels and bed stuff were old n stained, cockroaches size of a mouse. I dont recommend it at all

Está horrible, súper sucio, tuvimos que pedir que nos cambiaran de habitación porque las sábanas estaban sucias y llenas de pelos, nos cambiaron a otra que no estaba mejor tuvimos que dormir con ropa y sobre las colcha, el colchón súper feo, toda la ropa de cama incluyendo las toallas sucias, viejas y manchadas, reservamos dos noches y la segunda noche mejor optamos por irnos a buscar otro lugar, las instalaciones del lugar en general sucias con ropa de cama por todos lados, polillas en los muebles de madera, no vale la pena

Warning, the hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The pictures must be at least 10 years old. This is very deceiving.

The hotel is very worn down and dirty. We paid for 3 nights but ended up leaving after just 1 due to the room being dirty and not feeling comfortable.

There were stains on the sheets, the shower was filthy, we didn't get towels in the room and had to ask for them. When we did get them they were also stained, grey and old looking.

The owners didn't speak any English which meant we couldn't communicate our issues, so we decided it was just best to lose our money and leave without trying to get a refund.

The owner did seem to care when we left, but it was just too hard to communicate with him due to us not speaking Spanish and him and others working not speaking English.

habitaciones limpias. mejorar lo del agua caliente, luego no alcanza para todas las habitaciones. personal amable.

La amabilidad que te reciben, y te atienden

Nos agrado mucho nuestra estancia en Oyo Hotel Mi Casa. El personal fue muy amable y atento. El Sr. Margarito nos dió información de como visitar otros lugares y tuvimos charlas amenas con el. Nos sentimos como en familia charlando con el personal que trabaja en éste hotel. El lugar es céntrico y puedes ir caminando a varios lugares.

Mucha suciedad

El joven del lobby fue amable.

El personal escucha música con volumen muy alto toda la noche, hasta la 1 AM y a las 5 AM vuelven a poner música en recepción con volumen alto. No dejan dormir

Tienen un perro en la azotea del hotel que ladra y pelea con gatos toda la noche. No deja dormir

Todo bien, instalaciones adecuadas para personas con discapacidad, que bueno q acepten mascotas, todo excelente

Sucio, sábanas luidas, colchón asqueroso, nada recomendable, pense que OYÓ seria una cadena confiable!

Ceiling fan would drop dust all day long. There were bed bugs on my first night, and I found a cockroach on my second. I didn’t bother staying my third paid night.

Muy amables cuartos limpios muy tranquilo todo me gusto el lugar

El lugar está confortable, solo estuve una noche. No está tan cerca del centro. El personal fue amable en recibir mi equipaje desde horas antes del check in y así pude asistir a un tour sin batallar cargando
El inconveniente con la ducha que el agua caliente se termina muy pronto

En general estuvo bien nuestra estancia. Lo único q comentaría es q tardaron mucho en atendernos para el check in y en las noches el perrito guardián hace mucho ruido y no deja dormir bien. Además de que necesitan cambiar los colchones.

Me abrieron la puerta de mi habitación mientras descansaba y cuando reclamé fueron groseros y no se disculparon
