This hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the downtown area. The free parking is great, the breakfast is pretty much just yogurt, fruit, and cake (no bread, meat, cheese, or even milk for the cereal), and the rooms are large but rather spartan. It was affordable and the staff were friendly. It was just a bit annoying that check-in doesn't start until 4pm.
We stay in this hotel some times before.
Now we were surprised it's renovated and the stuff is still very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is included.
It's the perfect place to stay the people treat you like family. Just great🥰
We have resided at this hotel for a few days to visit friends.
The room was really spacious with a large tv, comfortable bed, heating and a very clean bathroom.
The breakfast is just exquisite. Lots of fresh items and home made cakes and yogurt.
The staff is really friendly and very welcoming. The hotel has a small parking and a caffeteria. It is situated just about 20mins from the city centre. Pordenone is a very cute little city with a very nice historic centre, loads of shops and really good restaurants. I really hope to return back.
This hotel rates as a 3 star, but it could easily have 4 or more. Clean, easily accessible, extremely helpful and polite staff, great linen and very good breakfast are only some of the reasons why one will return to this place. It is family run and also has an excellent and very well priced trattoria across the road.
All the above at a very reasonable price. Well done.
I was in business trip from 25 February till 3 March and it was great decision to stay in Damodoro hotel!
It was very cold because of the unusual weather in Italy, but there are temperature regulators in rooms so you can get it warm ;)
Nice personal and comfortable rooms with double beds!
Thanks a lot!
Stayed at this hotel for only 4 nights this time. Again it was a wonderful stay. The staff very friendly always happy to help. The breakfast excellent especially their homemade bread. Rooms very comfortable and lovely big bathroom.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast with a good selection of locally produced items. Prosecco sold at the hotel is produced at the owner's winery.
Rooms are simple and a bit sparse, but comfortable.
Small super clean hotel. Great bed. Hospitality . Paolo and his staff are friendly and most hospitable. Delicious abundant breakfast. Ten-minute pleasant tree-lined walk to the center. Comfortable veranda at the front to sit and plan your day or reflect at the end of the day. Thank you Paolo and everyone at Damodoro. You made us feel at home.
Nice hotel, but I agree with the English reviewer that its more than adequate. Hotel itself is clean but not overdone with simple accommodations. Breakfast was nice. Hotel staff very friendly. The location is a short walk from downtown, so you have to take this into accommodation. Can be loud- agree with staying in the back.
The choice in Pordenone isn't great. Frankly we decided on the Damodoro on the basis of it looking typically Italian. It is and was very good value. It doesn't come with trimmings and can be a bit noisy, being close to the hospital and on a main road. Breakfast was better and with a greater choice than expected. Value at 70 Euro a night for 2 inc breakfast.
We stayed here for 2 weeks in June/July. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We were visiting my family in pordenone. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They even looked up bus times for us and where to catch buses, as we didn't hire a car. The room we had was great quite big, big comfy bed wonderful big private bathroom and air conditioning which was a blessing as it was hot. Their breakfast each morning was so good. Fresh baked bread every morning and wonderful coffee. They even kept the dining room open for us one morning as we had slept in and thought we had missed breakfast. Our room was kept spotless by the hard working staff. Just loved staying here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
fabulous little hotel just out of the heart of Pordenone. Paolo is a wonderful host who will go out of his way to help. The room and beds are excellent as is the buffet breakfast, They even arranged for someone to take me over 150km to see my Godmother. lt is stressfree and just sitting having a drink on the verandah is so very relaxing.l originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4. Great value with a fantastic host
We were staying in this Hotel for 4 nights from the 29.06 to the 2.07.2016.
I travelled from Zurich / Switzerland to Pordenone so I was really tired and as I reached to your hotel you staff was so friendly they really made us enjoy our holidays. They even managed that we can stay one more night (first we wanted to stay 3 days) but had a familiy festivity invitation that we had to go on day number 5 so we were very happy that we could stay.
By the way your walls are really beautiful I want to paint our walls similar at home.
We will come back next time😄 Greetings Tina & Emmanuel
The staff is very friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and the bed is super-comfy. Maybe the room is not ideal to get work done, so do not plan to use it as a working station. The WiFi connection is very good in the room and common areas. Walking distance to the city center.
The girl who virtually ran the place solo that weekend was uniquely efficient. Receptionist/waitress/cook/pastry maker (her cakes are delicious). The man who was on the rest of the week was no slouch either!
Small rooms but well within the needs of a budget hotel. Fifteen minutes walk to the town centre of Pordenone. Parking a bit tight around the back of the hotel.
Good buffet for breakfast and good but simple evening meal all for an excellent price.
The cafeteria/bakery just across the road is worth going to also.
I stayed in this small cozy hotel for three weeks in September 2015 and was very satisfied. The room was really clean and the staff was super friendly. I was also happy to find a continental type of of breakfast instead of only sweet stuff. The location is ok, about 10 mins from the center of Pordenone.
My room was next to the elevator and sometimes the noice woke me up during the night. Another little complaint: the wifi didn't work very well in the room, but they always tried to fix it at the reception. I can recommend this place!
Very nice breakfasts, clean room and bathroom, fresh towels everyday and a little fridge :). Great place to take a rest after hard day. View from a window isn't very interesting though - my was directed right to the building nearly.
I staying in this hotel way way back in 1981 with my parents. It was ok, a bit run down. I do remember though the food in their down floor restaurant was just fantastic!
Will be staying there from 14th Sept 2014 for 1 week. My cousin who we are visiting just lives down the street. I had a look on site and it looks quite updated. It now even has a shower in the shared bathroom.
Looking forward to it.
