Breakfast had a varied selection to cater all. However a few additions that cater to the British/European palate would be a great improvement.

Lovely, clean and neat ..only issue is at 7am the construction outside starts which disturbs your rest

The hotel has buggies at the bust stop which is very good, my experience with the drivers of those buggies were a bit inconsistent some of them are very agitated and driving like it’s a video game while others showed excellent customer service.

When I arrived in the buggy with my massive piece of luggage I was met by an amazing gentleman managing the valet or the concierge as he quickly looked around to see if there are any bill boys in sight and there was none he helped with the luggage and instructed the buggy driver to take me in until he hands me to a bill boy

This was one of the quickest check in experience I ever had in Makkah! I usually expect long queues and wait time of checking in at any of the Haram area hotels but this was under 5 minutes

The bus to Al Haram is not worth the ride , the drop of is a 10 minutes walk from the closest door and an elevator ride down to the closest holy mosque gate so walking from the hotel and taking the buggy is a quicker option.

Tried the room service and the food was quick and very well made, potion was big and the room service delivery staff was very polite.
Overall experience was up to the Marriott standards which is great for a city like Makkah.

Terrible experience

Very elegant hotel, close to Haram. The service is always excellent. However, the condition of the bathroom could use some renovation.

It was wonderful as my booking was upgraded to junior sweet. I was so pleased as the room was fantastic. Winderful and friendly staffs too. Thank you Marriot

Decor and Spacious

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Jabal Omar Marriot. It’s a 5 min walk to the Harem when using the trolley or bus, breakfast was excellent, everyone was really nice and Ahad, our housekeeping ensured we had everything we needed in our room. Taxis were easily available outside. No complaints. Would stay again.

Friendly staff, fairly close to the haram.

Overall, the experience was good. The beds and bathroom were clean. The carpet was a little old and stained. The service was amazing overall.
There were a few inaccuracies with the booking and the reality when it came to timing. For example the app said Checkout Time is 2:00pm and they had locked our room at 1:30pm. That was a little confusing. Compared to other hotels in the area, it was pretty good, though.
