Amazing friendly staff and the peranakan decor is picture-friendly. Located right smack in tourist attraction area
We had 2 rooms as went with another couple. Location right smack in Jonker Area. However maintenance of rooms are poor - water leaked from below basin in bathroom, rendering floor wet and had to put towel on floor to prevent slipping on wet floor, shower knob missing, plaster peeling off walls etc. Bed and bedding were comfortable though.
Hotel is too old and not maintained properly except for the public arras. The rooms and the toilets are beat up.
Good
Rustic
Check in was alright. However, was disappointed with the deluxe room we booked for, the room was dusty, moldy, and to be fair, the price we paid was expensive and not expecting for a torn pillow case, torn towels, and musky room that is hard to sleep at night. And room had a centipede
The hotel has been beautifully designed and renovated but I woke up in the morning after my first night here absolutely covered in mosquito bites. The room is not well-sealed: there are gaps from the shower to the light well and no way of ensuring an insect-free experience.
Also downsides for me - a lack of natural light in the bedroom and no breakfast provided.
The jucuzzi in the suite was the highlight.
The condition of the room is run-down with dust and cobwebs at the various corners. However, it’s still passable if you are not too fussy.
Nice little hotel with Chinese decor. Big room and great location close to everything.
Over priced for a place like this
Great hotel right next to China town. The style of hotel is lovely.
In the heart of Melaka yet very quiet room.
The hotel has a very nice decor and spacious rooms however, it’s not very well maintained. The room smelled damp, it was dusty and had hair on floors, shower was blocked, paint flaking…
Despite parking issue due to the famous narrow road of jonker street and nearby arear, it just walking distance near all famous historical building. if u r driving just remove the no parking sign for a quick check in nad the staff will lead u to a nearby parking. the place is antique but it is ok for the price
Service was excellent. Staff greeted us eagerly, and assisted us to our room. The room was cleaned /replenished every day. It was a small , boutique room, with no refrigerator, but it was quite a nice place…had a distressed, antique, vibe. It was also very close to the riverwalk and all the touristy attractions. Grab was exceedingly cheap here, so if you needed to go to the beach or other locations further away it will not be a problem.
Our stay was very nice. We felt welcome as soon as we walked in. The room and ambiance is wonderful and the location is the best. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the river. Also, it’s very peaceful atmosphere.
Close proximity to Jonkers Street food and shopping.
Property is dated but kept quite clean.
Good for short weekend stay.
Nice comfortable hotel with a historical feel. Although some parts of the room is kinda unfinished, it gives the room a historical feel. Amenities are provided and room is pretty clean. I like the 4-poster bed. Location next to the night market, so it's a very convenient hotel to be in. Just make sure room windows are shut tightly to prevent mosquitoes from flying in. Highly recommended.
Cute boutique hotel with nice decor. In the perfect location, welcoming staff, and clean. The room could use a little touch up but I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Large room. In a old Chinese building. In the heart of the town.
