100% do not recommend staying.
Pros:

I liked the check in process at the base and the cable car rides were smooth and enjoyable.

Cons:

I paid for an executive room which indicated it had two floors and a shower. It had neither. We stayed the night for the good bridge photos in the early morning. We got them in the evening so could have just come up in the afternoon, had a look around and gone home around 6-6:30. The dinner food up there is horrible. The breakfast standard. The hotel check in at the top was chaotic. 100% do not recommend staying.

Tres bon enplacement ,personnel tres sympathique ,dispo, efficace en pleins milieux du village francais, breakfast buffet gigantesque Exellent.

Cons:

Clim qui ne marche pas dans notre chambre et dans le premier bâtiment mais le personnel nous a gentiment surclassé dans un autre bâtiment ou tout fonctionnait .

Well worth every cent and more! A high light of our trip.
Pros:

From the moment we arrived to left the hotel and staff looked after us like we were VIP guests ( we definitely arnt) and they went above and beyond at all times to help with moving luggage, storage of our belongings and getting us into our room 4hrs early- our porter Thierry (Viet) carried 40kgs up staairs from the cable car and refused my offers of help! As I was surprised at the standard of service.
Coming back as the French village and all the entertainment was outstanding:)

Cons:

If I had to be extra picky I would just comment that rooms air con temp is set and the fridge wasn’t really cold which is an issue for storing medication at a cool temp - I came prepared for that though.

Very beautiful, clean, interesting and fun, especially in morning and evening when crowds departed

Cons:

I have had ongoing, frustrating time with billing at the hotel. To date I’ve paid 3 times, twice on booking.com and again (inexplicably) at check-in, for 1 room for 1 night. Hotel has agreed to reimburse 1 payment, but hasn’t responded to repeated requests about reimbursing a second payment. Extremely frustrating!!!

Pros:

You have to stay here to complete the experience. As a family we had a great time staying here, it felt exciting to be up there when the day trippers had all return back down the mountain.
You have access to the Golden Bridge at 6am.
When you check in to the hotel you then get allocated to another section of the French Village complex, not necessarily the main castle.

Beautiful location but the hotel is average at best.

The location of the hotel and village is amazing, very picturesque and worth the trip up.

Cons:

The food options were limited, mostly buffets which were average and the gym was basically non existent. The rooms are extremely loud and you can hear every word from the neighbouring room along with everything from the hallways, the beds were not comfortable at all, the Air Con was not powerful at all so it was hot at night and the wifi was intermittent and cut out regularly.
