Excellent hotel
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Eye Hotel. Our room was superb; spacious, immaculately clean, and very well provisioned. We had windows in three directions, giving a lovely breeze at night. The hotel is really well located and the coffee/tea/dining room is accessible all day, which is very handy. Thank you Eye, we'll return here next time we're in Utrecht.

Brilliant!
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Looks exactly like the pictures, nicely decorated rooms, clean, great bathroom & shower. It is located just off a street that has loads of cafes, restaurants and bars, and no more than a 20 minute walk to most of the city. Supermarket open until midnight 6 min walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, I can’t recommend it enough!

Hotel bellissimo. Noi avevamo una suite familiare molto grande con letto matrimoniale e un letto a castello per i bambini. Bagno bellissimo con super doccia. Aria condizionata e tende oscuranti.
L'hotel è centrale e in 10 minuti a piedi si è in stazione.
Il primo giorno i bambini sono arrivati stanchi e il gentilissimo personale ha fatto il possibile per darci la stanza il prima possibile.

Cons:

Unica pecca il fatto che solo la stanza con il wc abbia una porta. Il bagno in cui c'è la doccia è senza porta e chi ha un certo senso dellanprivacy può patirlo.

Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Das Personal war super nett und zuvorkommend! Die Klimaanlage war sehr leise. Das Bett war sehr bequem!

Cons:

Eine Person aus unserer Gruppe hatte ein Komfortzimmer ohne Aussicht, nur mit Fenster zu einer Art Wintergarten/Flur, da ist man uns mit einem kostenfreien Frühstück entgegengekommen. 😄 Kosmetiktücher wären schön!

All was well, other than the allocated room had only partial air-conditioning. Once we complained we were given another room.

I personally think, the original room (where we had to stay one night, was not fit for 'consumption' during the extreme heat.

Will definitely come back to Eye Hotel
Pros:

Room comfort, size and cleanliness are excellent. Breakfast is very good. Staff always there ready to help.

Cons:

I will never understand the concept of a the big bed (queen, king size) that is composed of two 1-person-beds and only "united" on top by some thin mattress or even the bedsheet. It seems it's a big bed but if you're alone you cannot sleep in the middle, if youre a couple you cannot be clsoe to each other in the middle - it's simply uncomfortable.
Not all the rooms are on the same level as the lift, to some of them you have to drag your suitace through a few steps, but that's the "beauty" of Dutch old buildings.
Other than that - very nice hotel with everything as it should be in 4 stars.
