Now there is no such hotel.
The hotel is permanently closed🔒.
Booked hotel and when I visit hotel they said that hotel is sold and you have to do new booking and this is another hotel called thamel 11 so paid again and had no choice.

I had a nice stay.

I had a lovely stay. My room was clean. The location was great. The staff were kind and friendly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very nice and had a lot of services, it's also in the middle of Thamel, thus it's very close to the center, the room I was assigned to was clean, absolutely recommended if you're staying in Kathmandu for a week or more!

I have visited to Kathmandu for the business trip and taken accommodation at Alpine Hotel & Apartment. It's really amazing and very good for the business trip they provides very hygienic food, good room service,cab service, city guidence, etc.

Best location. Suite rooms are the best with bathtub. Truly value for money. Liked the free breakfast as well. Owner and staffs are helpful. Specially liked the packed breakfast on request during early check out in morning for Pokhara..

We stayed at the Alpine Hotel & Apartment for two nights and can recommend the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and clean, breakfast is very tasty. Overall, we had a very nice stay!

Hi Folks, I had booked 2 family rooms on this property from 21.06.2022 to 25.06.2022 after going through photos and reviews of Tripadvisor and different online travel portals. After checking into this hotel, I felt cheated by the trip advisor and all other travel portals, who have given the highest rating and uploaded false information about property amenities. Still I am in shock that a company like Tripadvisor gave a 9.2 rating to this property, which is not worthy of even a 2.0 rating, hence please don't believe even trip advisors. I had to check out this hotel the very next day and had to book another hotel. Please rethink before booking this property and cross check following facts before booking, if you don’t want to spoil your holiday: -

1. Property Photo uploaded by MakeMyTrip and other travel portals will not match the actual image of this property as property photo is of another property.

2. There is no swimming pool in this hotel, but all travel portals have mentioned pools in their filter and front page.

3. Room size is 50% smaller than, what ever mentioned at their portal.

4. There is no food available even at 9 PM, whereas they claim to serve until 10 PM.

5. There is no 24x7 front desk as mentioned at their portal.

6. You will find only Cook to act as Receptionist, Hotel Manager, Electrician, plumber etc.

7. All rooms are very small and full of foul smell.

8. Dressing table and wardrobe seems to be purchased from a scrap dealer as those were very old and broken at multiple places.

9. Rooms end before it starts.

10. You will hardly find any other occupant except you in this hotel.

11. There is rationing in breakfast also. They provide only 1 egg per person and any extra egg will be charged.

Hence please do not book this property even at throw away price.

I had a fantastic stay at Alpine! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and provided superior service. The hotel was clean and comfortable to stay in. The surrounding area felt safe and had easy access to shops, restaurants and activities. Alpine’s team made my first time visiting Kathmandu so pleasant and seamless from the time I arrived— I highly recommend staying here!

I did add a review here a couple of years ago, but they deserve another one and many more. I stayed in Alpine with a mate from Scotland a few years back (2015). Ever since this is my go-to place...2022 and this is still my favorite hotel in Nepal. What I like about Alpine, is they always make sure that you are welcome. Many other hotels in the area care only about you staying and paying, but I can guarantee that you will never have that experience with Alpine Hotel. From the moment you arrived, you will be greeted with smiles by the owner and the staff. That is something special! Instantly you will feel that you are in your own home.

The rooms are clean, good wifi if you wanna do some work, the breakfast is good as well, all in all, this place is great. Oh, it is also located in the center of Thamel, so walking around is easy if you need to buy things. I will be back again and again.

I have stayed at Alpine a couple times now, once when I first got to Nepal and again on an unexpected visit a couple weeks later. Both times were very good experiences. Very clean and spacious rooms. Everyone here is very friendly and willing to help out with whatever you need, or just hang out in the lobby. Great time here!!

I had a very good stay at the Alpine hotel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Although my stay was very short they went the extra mile to make it comfortable. Definitely would recommend them!!

I had a wonderful stay at Alpine. The rooms are nice, spatious, clean and well equipped (AC, fridge, water, toiletries,...). I had a very warm welcome from the staff, who are more than happy to provide you with any help of information you need. The rooftop is nice and quiet, a good escape from the bustling streets.

I definitely recommend and will stay again on my next visit!

Family of 4, stayed here for 14 nights and it was perfect.
Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and they treat you like family. Rooms are clean and comfortable, hotel is well situated in the heart of Thamel. Highly recommend this place. Nick and Sujan were awesome hosts as was their staff.

This place is perfectly adequate. You will have everything you need: how water, breakfast, etc. and it's in a really good location. In Thamel, but down a nice quiet street. One of the staff seemed annoyed with us when we were 10 mins late for breakfast, but he didn't start making it until we came down which also wasted time for us. So that that was the only hiccup during the stay.

Staff are welcoming us with pleasant smiles, clean room , good stay , best hospitality service from their end to the customer, location are easy accessible to party place like thamel pubs and temples are very near

We stayed here many times during our visit and I can tell you that this hotel is perfect on everything. Location is perfect, very friendly and helpful staffs. Very clean and well maintained rooms. Nice breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
