Poorly thought out layout, no privacy!!

It was close to downtown

Cons:

They just renovated and took out all the storage space, most of our things were on the floor. It’s looks great but there is no functionality. They took off the curtains in the bathroom window so anyone going up the stairs outside can see in your bedroom, bathroom and shower!! When the manager was told about it, she already knew and didn’t care!! They have no common area for you to gather and enjoy the beach.

Short but sweet
Pros:

The view was fantastic. The rooms super clean! Was worried about traffic noise, but all was quiet by mid-evening. The location is good. The Vue Kitchen and Bluff trail are right across the street.

Cons:

It’s outdated in terms of amenities, but it was fine for what we were looking for.

Can't beat the location - comfortable, clean room with nice amenities for a trip to the coast.
Pros:

The check-in process was a nice surprise. Becky was so kind and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful tips for food and activities. There was a welcome drink (beer/water) offered. I needed additional towels and they kindly offered to service the room after our first night. I didn't request an ocean view room, but I was still provided with one.

Cons:

It was a little noisy with the windows open at night due to road noise. There is no fan in the bathrooms so I learned to open the window to reduce the steam and condensation.

Fine for a road trip one nighter.

Beautiful hotel on the coast
Pros:

Beautiful, clean room - ours had an ocean view! Very quiet. Excellent service from staff.

The only thing to remember is that if you plan to arrive after 6:00 PM, be sure to let them know you are a late arrival. This is a small town on the coast and everything closes early, but they will make arrangements with you for you to pick up your key.

GPS may send you elsewhere, as happened with other guests as well as ourselves (and a local person we asked had her GPS send us to even another place in a neighborhood!)... so you might want to print out directions before leaving for the hotel!
