Perfect to stay when not needing a lot of ammenities in an old fashion motor motel, with charm.
Pros:

The Motel is quite charming in character, I really enjoyed the Island with the firepits. Location excellent to walk to the square. The breakfast was lean, with fruit not being replaced was my only complaint. You could enter the small room adjacent to the office to get hot water for tea any time & that was nice.

Cons:

They could be more attentive to the included fruit.

Cons:

The evening staff left the office and was not available any of the three times. I went into the office to ask for help. This was very frustrating and a little bit unsettling, as if I had had any kind of an emergency, would’ve had no help. Finally, after calling and leaving a voicemail message, I finally had Someone come and establish television reception in my room. Unfortunately, that person appeared to be very put out that I would even bother them.

Excellent value, great staff; am definitely staying again!
Pros:

Every thing except the sounds from linen closet.

Cons:

The staff were rather noisy when using linen supply room on other side of our room. And for the 2nd time the bathroom air vent didn’t work.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was simple, but very comfortable and clean. Fun decor. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Easy walk with roller bag luggage from the train station and easy walk to town. The island in the middle of the parking lot was better than I thought it would be. Very congenial for sipping wine after dinner. Good dining within a few minutes' walk.

Lovely place to stay-comfortable and convenient.
Pros:

Wonderful location within walking distance of downtown. Very nice outdoor space with fire pits and a cozy inside gathering space. Staff was awesome.

I would recommend Stables Inn to everyone needing accommodations in or near Paso Robles or in SLO.
Pros:
