We love out time here
Pros:

We love coming to this hotel. The Suite with the fireplace, spa tub and king bed is perfect for us. You get a lot of bang for your buck at this resort, with the roman spa, indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and the movie theater. The only thing that could make this experience 100% would be if they had the restaurant open in the off season, but there are plenty of great places to dine in the area. We look forward to our visit each year and can't wait to come back!

Our first visit to The Meadowmere Resort will not be our last.
Pros:

Having never stayed at this resort before, we were blown away by how wonderful the resort is.

We chose this resort as our Valentine’s getaway and could not be happier. While checking in, we were given glasses of champagne and heart shaped cookies with pink frosting. It was a great welcome.

We found the room to be spotless and as comfortable as could be. As we ventured through the resort we found an indoor pool, an indoor Roman spa complete with a huge hot tub as well as an incredible outdoor hot tub.

We returned to our room to grab bathing suits and discovered that the resort provides very comfortable robes as well. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and were thoroughly relaxed.

The staff could not have been more professional and helpful and the resort is outstanding. We truly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to returning to.

Fantastic stay at Meadowmere Resort
Pros:

What a wonderful stay we just had! The welcome from Marina & Patrina (easy to remember those names) set the tone for the entire stay. They made us feel so welcome and offered any assistance we may need throughout the weekend. The room was perfect, the mattresses…. WOW they are so comfortable- we stayed in room 832 it was quietly located at the end of the hall. The pool and indoor spa pool were fantastic. We would love to bring our grandchildren up next trip- very kid friendly from what we saw. The continental breakfast had very nice fresh fruit, cereal chocolate and plain croissants- juices and coffee a nice inviting sitting area as well. We will be back it was a wonderful visit. Jonathan’s right next door- best dinner ever, try to time it with one of the awesome shows upstairs! A win win for sure.

Pros:

The roman spa and indoor pool were nice. The evening front desk Associate was pleasant.

Cons:

The room had a very noisy HVAC unit which woke us up throughout both nights. We had to run the hot water in the sink & shower for a few minutes before the water got even remotely warm. The furnishings and carpeting throughout the building seemed dingy & dirty. We got the room with a 2 person jet tub. It looked very old and not inviting at all. The price at almost $500 for 2 nights in the middle of the winter, was far too much. It is very unlikely that we will visit this hotel in the future. We spoke to the desk Associate upon checkout & no solutions were offered for the dissatisfaction during our stay. Later on that day after checkout, she called me and said they could take a whole $30 off for our stay. I declined and she was going to have a manager followup the next day. 5 days later, I have not heard anything from the staff.

Positive Changes at Meadowmere
Pros:

I have been going to the Meadowmere consistently for 12 years now and I am so happy to see them thriving.

They made cosmetic updates: paint; new furniture in the pool & Roman spa; they removed those pesky stools from the hot tub (good decision— I still have a scar from 2015, lol.)

The room was clean and there were 2 spa grade robes in the room. I was able to wear it out to the pool and be extra comfortable watching my kids swim.)

We door dashed dinner to the hotel and the kids got to eat poolside. Parenting win! (If you do this, be respectful— don’t eat in the pool or leave trash behind.) Being able to feed the kids in the pool area was nice because we were able to run all of their energy out before bedtime.

The pool area had plenty of towels that were restocked when inventory was low.

The coffee/hot cocoa bar was perfect, like always. Having flavor shots available is such a game changer. I started adding vanilla to my hot cocoa this weekend and I’m never looking back.

The rooms are cozy. I thought I noticed an upgrade to the blankets in the room. Either way, we all slept very well.
Toiletries: decent. Hair girlies, byo.
Water pressure in shower is great. One complaint: the hot water in the sink gets too hot way too fast. Like 0 to the 7th gate of hell immediately. This is an accident waiting to happen, especially for a little one.

I wanted to mention that I noticed the check-in process has changed, but for the better. It was fast and they already had the information gathered in an envelope: room key, parking pass, literature/info.) Smart!
