The room was very nice and very clean
Cigarette smoke odor front lobby
Clean, great location to everything, lots of amenities
got there Friday night and the room had a leak in the bathroom, that they couldn't fix. so they put us up at another hotel where the room was not the same quality
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Super clean which is always a priority. The room as well as all peripheral areas to venture (pools, hot tubs, gym etc) were in perfect shape and very new in appearance. Staff was friendly and helpful. Resort is perfectly located to walk to downtown, beach and all the area has to offer. Definitely a place to return to.
I stayed here last year and was not impressed. It had gone downhill. I stayed here this past weekend and the improvements were beautiful. The room was nice. Except for ant problem which I told them about, and hopefully they take care of it. I love all the new outdoor furniture. The hot tub was hot where last year it was not there was plenty of towels. It really is a beautiful place the one thing that they can.improve on is front desk friendliness. They are the first thing that you see when you come to the hotel they need to be more friendlier and helpful. My encounters with them were kind of like you’re bothering me attitude. Other then that I love meadowmere.
Location for the Playhouse it walking down is great. Staff were fantastic, rooms clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.
We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay. We booked and paid extra for a specific family suite, but were never notified that it was unavailable due to renovations. Important amenities like the fire pit (for which we pre-purchased s'mores kits) and the games room were also closed, and none of this was communicated to us in advance.
The most frustrating part was discovering that a recently renovated family suite—the exact type we booked—was available at check-in, but no one told us. Instead, when I inquired, staff insisted there were no family suites and put us in two tiny rooms in a back building with full-size beds, not queen-size beds. My husband and I were cramped for the entire stay. Two days later, I received an email saying the renovated suite was actually available if we wanted to move, but by then, we had unpacked and settled in with our three kids, making a switch highly inconvenient. This room should have been offered at check-in, not days later.
We were also charged a $30 nightly amenities fee, yet many amenities were closed or unavailable. The fire pit was broken, the games room was closed, and the so-called free breakfast often lacked basic items like pastries due to delivery issues. Air conditioning in the pine rooms was poorly designed, blowing cold air only onto the wardrobes, leaving the room hot and uncomfortable. These rooms are tiny, stuffy, and the beds are far too small for families—definitely avoid the pine rooms if you can.
We had no prior warning that the hotel was under renovation or that so many amenities would be unavailable. For the price and the "resort fee," we expected much better. At minimum, we should have been notified in advance, offered a comparable or upgraded room, and had the fees waived or reduced.
This hotel is not a resort, and their breakfast is mediocre at best. If they don't have the room you booked, insist on seeing all available options before settling. I regret not doing this, but after a long trip with tired and hungry kids, we just accepted what we were given. I hope this helps others avoid the same mistakes.
Rooms have been newly renovated and they are really beautiful. Bed is so comfortable with nice linens. Everything was so clean and organized. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They welcome you with either a glass of champagne or lemonade, there’s nice complimentary coffee bar set up in lobby along with flavored water and afternoon cookies. Pool, spa pool and hot tub all very nice. Lawn games for the kids along with nightly movies. Really comfortable and fun place we hated to leave.
The staff here are so kind. We were treated well from the second we arrived to the moment we left. We were even given a complimentary room upgrade for no additional charge! Everyone was extremely helpful and it made our stay comfortable and stress-free.
We had a wonderful stay at the Meadowmere Resort. The front desk staff, Deveen and Patrice, were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. They made us feel valued from the moment we arrived and were always willing to assist with a smile.
Overall, a very pleasant experience, and the outstanding hospitality from Deveen and Patrice made our stay even more enjoyable. We would happily return.
The only downside was that the sunrise shines directly into the room early in the morning, which can disturb your sleep if you’re hoping to rest a little longer. Blackout curtains would be a great addition.
Spacious room with comfy bedding. We were next to the road but didn't hear any noise from outside. The continental breakfast was lacking, but they had Harney and Sons tea that I enjoyed. We utilized the Roman Spa and outdoor pool. Both were clean and felt wonderful. We were very close to the beach and the ocean walkway. Some things I would have appreciated are a map of the property, and a few more places to hang towels. They were kind to provide me with some water since their water refill station is in the process of being repaired. Ogunquit is such a pretty town.
Very clean hotel. The TV was very complicated to operate. On our second day our key card did not work. We had to go to the front desk to get new key cards.
Centralized and close to downtown and the playhouse. Additionally really great room
A little hard to get your bearings on the room location
Booked a king suite, got there and they stuck us in a standard room, 2 double beds. Went to front desk and was told the building we booked was torn down. Did anyone let us know? NO. Just the fact they tried to still charge us for a king suite while trying to dump us into a standard room really irks me. They did find us a king room and acted like they did us a favor. I just cannot recommend this place.
The Meadowmere is a consistently wonderful place to stay in Ogunquit, It is walking distance to the Ogunquit Playhouse and had ample parking. The rooms were recently renovated and were clean and comfortable. The best part of our stay was the wonderful staff. Upon arrival, Deveen checked us in and was professional and welcoming. When I told her that we wanted to leave a gift in the room for another couple we were traveling with, she told Patrick who took care of it for us with joy. We felt so welcome and they were both so kind. The next day at breakfast, Rodre did an excellent job taking care of the tables. I highly recommend staying at Meadowmere!
We had a great time at the Meadowmere! It's about a ten minute walk into either Ogunquit or Perkins Cove, which worked out perfectly as a means to walk off a big meal. Our room at Meadowmere was clean, with a nice sized bathroom. We were up for a family wedding, so appreciated the space for visiting, both inside by the fire place during the rain, and outside at night by the fire pit. We didn't take advantage of the indoor pool or hot tub, but many of those staying at the hotel did, and it seemed to be a favorite activity for those with young kids. We were only there for two nights, and ate at the Pub for breakfast one morning ($9.00 buffet - can't beat it!). The Pub was closed on Monday morning, so we grabbed from the free continental breakfast and did just fine! I especially enjoyed their selection of teas - Hot Cinnamon Spice was delicious! And the staff was so nice and helpful. Patrice was great - she's such a good person!
Meadowmere is a great family spot! Use the pool, hang together and burn off a few calories on the walk back and forth to the many stores and restaurants in the area!
I was moved to a completely different hotel due to renovations on the room I selected. The new hotel did not offer the same amenities or the same style room but I was still charged the full price.
