Could Have Been Wonderful
Pros:

We travel often, but this was our first visit to Coral Sands Resort and to Hilton Head. We enjoyed Hilton Head, and we had hoped to enjoy Coral Sands, but the day after we arrived I accidentally banged my knee into the corner to the Wooden Box that held the bed mattress! I limped around the entire week with a very sore knee. I called the office about it, but they said all of the resorts in the area were like that, which I truly doubt. The box stuck out past the bed and covered all around the bed mattress on three sides. My husband stumped his toe on the wooden box that week, as well . I finally stuffed a pillow into each corner of the box and draped it over the corner to keep from running into the corners.
The kitchen window above the sink had blinds that would not lower all the way to the bottom of the window, so people could see into the apartment. I finally put paper bags in the window to block the view inside. None of the clocks in the place had the correct time.
The safe was inside the closet, but they put it right where you would hang your clothes, midway down the back wall of the closet, so you really could not use half of the closet.
They gave us no boxes of kleenex tissues, just a tiny bag that had a little personal pack in it. We had to find a store to buy tissues.
There was little room to store any food in the cabinets, so I just stacked our sacks of food on the table and counter and dug through them when I needed something.
The parking lot for our particular building did not have enough spaces for all of the vehicles, and one of the spaces to park had a wall of bricks about half way up beside the car, so that you could not open your car door if you parked there.
We were also told that if we wanted to visit the lighthouse, it would cost around $20, and if we went to their sales meeting, we could buy tickets for around $10 each for the lighthouse. We went on our own to the lighthouse. The price to the lighthouse is about $7.50 each. I did not get to climb it because of my injured knee. My husband climbed it for free because he is a veteran, and military veterans can climb for free.
The nicest things I can say about the resort is that it is near the beach and the carpet in our unit was clean.
I tried to download photos of the bed box and window, but my photos would not load on their site.

We had a great time at Coral Sands! Close to the beach and shops, but we also spent a lot of time hanging at the pools,

With the exception of people smoking outside our unit the resort was wonderful. Had a small issue with the refrigerator
Pros:

The unit was very large and roomy. So many drawers and large closet gave us a place to unpack everything. The bed and pillows were excellent.

Cons:

People smoking right outside our door and walking into smoke coming off the elevator.

March Break Family getaway
Pros:

One of the best resorts on the island. Location is great for families and group getaways.

Overall we love staying here. Hopefully we can get a credit for future stay due to inconvenience on check-in day.

Location, perfect for large family

Cons:

Once checked in and unpacked to 2nd floor unit ready to unwind and cook for large family we discovered that glass top stove would not work for safety and cooking due large crack in glass stove top. The only option was to get another unit so now we have repack, to change units ( another building) , then to re- unpack. This was stressful for large family.

We loved our stay at Coral Sands by Palmera!
Pros:

My two kids and I really enjoyed our stay! We loved having an entire apartment to ourselves. It was beautiful and spacious and very clean. It had everything we needed and was in a great location, within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and so much more. The staff was friendly and the pool and lazy river were a hit with my kids. We will definitely choose Coral Sands by Palmera again!

Great location and beautiful property
Pros:

I was so happy to find this property on the Armed Forces Vacation Club! The 3 bedroom accommodation is amazing. It was great for our family get-together with our daughter and grandchildren. We had an amazing 3rd floor room which had nice view of the pool and close to the elevator. Even though it was chilly in early March we still enjoyed the hot tub, nearby playground and shops.

Great stay. Fantastic location!
Pros:

Great location. Walk to the beach. Accommodations were exactly what we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Jamie at the concierge was incredibly helpful with recommending activities.

Nice Place to Stay
Pros:

We enjoyed our visit at Coral Sands. The staff was helpful, the unit we stayed in was clean, well-supplied, and spacious, and the location was great for us. We recommend it for others looking for a nice getaway.
