Chiang Dao Roundhouses

Différent ; Unique ; Exceptionnel !

Het is een bijzondere ervaring om in een roundhouse te slapen. Bedden zijn heerlijk. Douchen doe je buiten wat erg leuk is.
De gastvrouw Suzy vertelt enorm veel en geeft leuke tips. Ontbijten is leuk verzorgd.
Al met al een eenvoudige overnachtingsplek maar heel leuk om meegemaakt te hebben.

PLEASE NOTE:
Bathroom is outside. It is well-equipped, private, and a fun experience, however, it was very cold at night (January), and the bathroom is shared with mosquitos.

If the bathroom situation isn't a deal-breaker, you MUST stay here!

친절하고 깔끔한 침대상태가 좋으며 동굴까지 가까운 위치라 편리함. 다만 밤새도록 개들의 짖는 소리가 귀에 거슬리네요.

The staff who checked us in was delightful but the check in took way too long. She gave us lots of information which was great but it would be nice to have a paper printed to give to guests about the local sites.

Susie and staff were great, helpful above and beyond. Sad to say property is construction zone, and has neglected look to garden, empty pool. Rates jumped from 1150 to 1620 baht in short time since booked. Gorgeous area w many well manicured properties nearby, this one did not meet up to that rate level. Perhaps they are regrouping but for now I’d make another choice.

The Roundhouses are super beautiful in a calm area close to the chiang dao cave. It is recommendable to rent a bike, motorbike or car to get around the area but this is easy in the small 'village' nearby. The kind host (susie) is so helpul with everything that your stay will be great for sure. Very recommendable if you search for some calm days and nature. The breakfast was amazing.

Absolutely stunning location! The outdoor bathrooms we’re amazing with hot water suppy. Only issue is the lack of bottled water. Other than that it was perfect!! Loved the breakfast, the rooms, the stunning views and the friendly company!

The location is excellent and very peaceful and the roundhouses are comfortable as well as being a very unique experience. Maggi, the owner, gave us lots of helpful suggestions and was very welcoming. Strongly recommended.

Vi havde et fantastisk ophold i Chiang Dao Roundhouses. Stedet ligger smukt og meget centralt i forhold til seværdighederne i området. Maggie stedets ejer er meget gæstfri og hjælpsom. Skøn morgenmad.

Unique setting and accommodations. Recommend staying as long as you enjoy pets.

Fantastic view and a beautiful surroundings.Maggie is a very nice host and very helpful, she even took us with her to the local market and showed us around in Chang Dao.It was a great experience, especially sleeping in the beautiful roundhouse and listening to the sounds of the Forrest.

Chiang Dao Roundhouses was an absolutely lovely place to stay. The owner of the place was super-friendly and lovely person and gave great advice on what to do around. The roundhouse itself was amazing with a view to the mountains. It had a comfortable double bed and a private bathroom that was partly outside so that you could shower under the stars. The wow-factor of the room cannot be described, it must be experienced. The breakfast served was made from local ingredients and it was really tasty. We could have sat outside enjoying the breakfast for hours! Nearby there is some good walking paths that lead to mountains and the place also has bikes that can be used for free. We definately recommend this place! Hope our stay would have been longer.

After spending a few busy nights in Chiang Mai, this is exactly what I was hoping for when I booked. A relaxing two days in a remote area surrounded by nature in a very cozy and quite dare I say, romantic setting.

Everything was perfect to the host, Maggie's hospitality, delicious morning scone breakfast and making sure that our stay was pleasant.

I will truly miss my time spent there and looking forward to returning.

Each bungalow has a porch with chairs to sit and marvel at the mountains. Showering outside is an exhilarating experience - with hot water and privacy, of course. Maggie is helpful and accomodating and always making sure you are taken care of. I borrowed a bike to ride around. Freshly backed breakfast scones every morning and fruit, as well as a unique rose hip juice. There is a lovely road along side the property to walk and view both sunset and sunrise. I added two days to my stay because I felt so relaxed and welcomed. This is not a place I would stay with children
