Hotel is amazing. Parking was free in the building with the room card, service was great, room is gorgeous and cosy. The bed is heaven.
Two night weekend stay and rates were very affordable. Free carpark over the weekend. Everything was stylish and new with easy online check in and check out.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was well fitted out and very clean
The water pressure was terrible and it took a long time to get hot water
familiar, easy access tp where we needed to be
orientation of beds
It was modern and beautifully presented. The room was very clean and the communal areas were wonderful.
I’m not sure why the lights went off in my room and I couldn’t get them to switch on again until someone came to the door and when I opened it they miraculously came on again! Literally no light switches made any difference when I switched them on so I had to dry my hair in semi darkness and get dressed!
Super cosy and quiet. Free parking. Good location. The bed was amazing!
The TV reception was poor
The property was great value for money, close to a lot of Canberra’s attractions, within walking distance of many cafes and a couple of minutes’ drive from Coles. They offer complimentary parking for guests which was so useful, and the rooms were cosy and clean. Staff were always present at the front desk during their shift which made it easy when you needed quick assistance.
Only complaint I’d have is that the rooms were quite small and could have been a bit cleaner.
The bed it is amazingly comfortable
Nothing
Have always loved this hotel and it's sister properties. That massive bed with a window the size of the room is just a wonderful place to relax and sleep. Clean, functional bathroom and efficient staff. The shared lounge and library areas are great too, and were well utilised by guests during our stay.
Last time I stayed here there was a self service bar operating in the lounge. It was a great feature and it felt wonderful to be trusted by the "honesty" system. I guess not all people are that honest - it's been replaced with vending machines which change the vibe somewhat.
Always a welcoming stay in a great location.
