Palm & Tide Beachfront Hotel

The elevator was not working and we were put on the 5th floor. No compensation or sympathy was given due to this. Also the renovation is terrible. We could not plug in a blow dryer in the bathroom without blowing a fuse. The rooms seem bare and not hospitable. Our room was also barged into twice by maintenance when the deadbolt was locked (apparently they have a key to overuse this). We did not request maintenance. The staff also has no customer service and didn’t not care about any of our concerns.

No microwave in room, only one elevator that worked and pool was closed when we were there

We are senior citizens. So it is not really set up sor seniors. The walk in shower was nice, but it didn’t have a place to put your soap. You had to either put the soap on the floor or hold it while bathing. It just had the sofa in the sitting area, but it had a very high table and 2 very tall chairs, which were to high for us to sit in. Also the Adirondack chairs on the balcony were to low for us to get in and out of.

No air, no hot water, staff was unprofessional and unconcerned with any of the issues the place was having. The elevator was board shut. Breakers were flipping in the room. No microwave. No power half of the stay.

While staying there the room above us flooded so it ran down the walls through our ceiling into our room, ruining a gaming laptop, getting our bed, wet or clothes, wet and management done nothing at all about it the manager on duty can’t remember what her name was was rude about the situation refused to write anything out and give it to us

The elevators didn’t work, no microwave in the room, the pools were dirty, around the pools were dirty. The towels in the rooms are very small. The WiFi didn’t work, the television was blurry.

Balcony, and lamp lights did not work. Also no microwave in the room.

Floors were filthy, no microwave, no clock, no table with chairs, no place to sit and watch TV, only one side bedside table, no chain locks on doors, no caddy available to take luggage up, no counter to put anything on in bathroom, frig was not cold, bed was too high to get in and mattress was very hard. I will not stay there again. Staff was dismissive and not helpful.

That the elevator wasn’t working and they gave us a room on the sixth floor. I’m 70 years old. There was no way so they accommodated me to the other building that had an elevator.

The elevator didn’t work in the Tide building but they were gracious enough to switch us to the Palm building where the elevator was working! 6 floors to climb was ALOT! Thankfully it was only one night! The remodel was done well and we felt comfortable and safe!!

The pool needed more daily attention. Seems like the skimmer wasn't working properly and only 1 elevator worked in both towers.

No overhead light in either bedroom.
No outlet in the bathroom.
No shelf or niche in the shower.
No towel bar to hang wet towels.
No hairdryer.
The room was profoundly humid... to the point that all the clothes in our suitcases were WET. The floor was completely wet with puddles from the humidity in the room.
There were no chairs in the room. No table to set anything on.
The TV in the bedroom did not work.

there were only showers and no bathtubs and only 1 door into the shower so when you turn the shower on you get blasted by cold water. There are no places to hang your loofas, wash cloths or put your shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Not enough places in the bathroom to hang towels and what not
