Good hotel but need better and active reception employees

Cons:

Filipino female at the reception was not helpful and had given us a room without any privacy or view and after refusing taking the room she changed it to another room has more privacy with same room class which means it was available from the beginning but she chose to give us bad room.
Fridge was not clean .
Kids area has an unworkable air condition and almost all toys are broken and TV & play station not working and when we told the Filipino female at the reception she didn’t make any active action to solve the problem
Although we were two adults with two kids with 7&4 years old which is complying with the hotel policy, the Filipino female at reception registered only for two persons for the breakfast while our room booking is including the breakfast and we followed hotel policy for kids

The location and view are excellent, but if I were to visit Doha again, I would most likely choose another hotel.
Pros:

The only highlight of our stay was the beautiful view from the hotel, which was excellent and probably the best feature of the property

Cons:

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding anniversary and unfortunately our experience did not meet our expectations.

1. Upon arrival, there was no valet service or staff available to assist with parking.
2. The hotel appears quite old and seems to require significant maintenance and refurbishment.
3. The room was very basic compared to neighboring hotels in the same area.
4. The bathroom facilities need maintenance. The shower head kept falling down several times during our stay.
5. The anniversary cake provided as part of the celebration package was disappointing and did not taste good.
6. There was no open buffet breakfast available, which was unexpected for a hotel of this category.
