Good traditional pub in beautiful village, walking distance to the Thames. The bed rooms were in a separate long building next to the pub which meant they they were much quieter than many pubs where rooms are above the bar. Beds v comfortable and bath with plenty of hot water too! Friendly couple running it. Good 'pub-grub' menu. Excellent value (£40 per person per night). Train access at Goring just across the bridge. Several National Trust properties nearby as well as walking. Close to the Chiltern Way.
Bad luck for them, there had been a flood in the cellar on the day we arrived so the bar was shut but they opened the second evening. No breakfast available (website confusing as implied cafe close by but actually it is a car drive to the nearest cafe or shop). It would definitely be worth the new landlord trying to have at least some sort of self service buffet breakfast. Also could do with an information folder in the rooms, especially if staff not readily available.
The staff were very friendly, making you immideatly relax.. the beer was very well priced, the cheapest ive paid in the south of england

Tastefully done up rooms, comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Exchanged our double for two twins without problem and at no extra charge. Nice old English pub.
Great location. Friendly staff. Nice separate block for the rooms so away from the pub. Comfy bed, plenty of tea & coffee, decent shower. Cheap compared to other local options. Nice beer garden!
A bit tired and shabby: loose fittings, the bathroom door was very hard to shut - plus the linen smelled like chip fat :(
Location and dinner were both very good
The room. After check in and finding there was no fan in the room, we requested for a fan in the room from the reception area in the bar. The lady advised she had none at the hotel. Due to the very hot weather we would have expected to have a fan in the room.

Lovely 3‑night stay at The Bull Inn
We stayed in Room 4 and it was perfect for the two of us — a great size, comfy double bed, free WiFi and convenient on‑site parking. The staff were all amazing, so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The bar had a fantastic atmosphere too, really added to the experience.
This was our 4th time staying here, and we’ll definitely be back again next year.

Not wanting to nit‑pick, but it would be helpful if an ironing facility was available, especially for longer stays like ours. The bathroom is a little dated and the sink could do with an update, but everything was clean and the shower was excellent.
Overall, another really lovely stay — we’ll be returning.

Att trots att jag bad om hjälp med toalettproblem så gjorde de inget åt det. Jag bad om en hink vatten för att kunna få ned allt som hade samlats. På väggen stod en skylt med information om att det var dåligt spoltryck i toaletterna pga närbeliggande sluss. Hur svårt kan det då vara att serva med extra vatten så att inte avföring ligger kvar hela tiden?

The Bathroom was a hazard. Electric towel rail hanging off the wall. Ditto loo holder. Shelf to put things on missing. Light above mirror not working..
