Wonderful location. The room is modern & well decorated in a historical hotel. The welcome drink at time of check-in was a great way to ease our stress after arriving from a distance. The welcome drink offered from the bar was a bonus. The staffs were friendly & professional. The hotel was updated tastefully without losing historical hotel's charm.

Everything was excellent. Friendly staff, great position, clean and quiet room.
Tesisin yeri mükemmel. Eski kent ve çevresine yürüme mesafesinde. Otelin çevresinde çok güzel dükkanlar ve restoranlar var. Bir kaç dakikada nehre inip, göle doğru güzel bir yürüyüş yapılabiliyor.
Kaldığım oda küçük olmasına rağmen gayet konforlu ve ihtiyaçları karşılıyordu. Ayrıca kahvaltısı da gayet doyurucu ve güzeldi. Her katta içme suyu bulunan bir çeşme olması da bir avantaj.
Odalarda kettle ve minibar bulunmaması bir dezavantaj. Gece geç saatte çay ya da kahve içmek isterseniz, ya da soğuk bir şeyler; resepsiyona kadar inmeniz ve almanız gerekiyor. Çay ve kahvenin resepsiyonda ücretsiz olması çok güzel ama istediğiniz saatte odanızda hazırlama imkanı olmasını tercih ederdim.
Location is perfect and all the staff (besides the manager) were lovely and tried to help
I stayed at this hotel previously and specifically returned because the air conditioning had been excellent. During a heat wave, the A/C in my room was broken, which the hotel later confirmed.
The front desk staff were kind, professional, and clearly tried to help within the limits of what they could do. Unfortunately, the only alternative room available was significantly smaller, faced a wall, and felt very claustrophobic. Even that room only cooled to around 22.5°C.
Mechanical issues can happen, and I understand that. What was most disappointing was the response from the manager. Not only was there no apology for the inconvenience, but when I asked whether anything could be done if I stayed another night despite the situation, I was essentially told that if I was unhappy, I should stay elsewhere.
I had originally intended to extend my stay, but after the manager’s response and the lack of any meaningful effort to address the situation, I decided to move to another hotel.
Throughout the interaction, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than acknowledged. A broken air conditioner during a heat wave is unfortunate; a lack of empathy and accountability is what turned it into a poor guest experience.
I chose this hotel specifically for a comfortable night’s sleep and reliable air conditioning, so this was especially frustrating. The property itself is attractive and I had a positive experience on a previous stay, but the handling of this situation fell well below expectations.
