Geschichtlich interessant!
Pros:

Wunderschöne alte Abtei aus dem 13. Jahrhundert mit sehr viel Geschichte und einem tollen Garten.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer hatte kein richtiges Bad, sondern ein Waschbecken und eine Badewanne im Raum. Die Toilette befand sich direkt neben dem schmalen Doppelbett in einer Holzverkleidung, dem ehemaligen Beichtstuhl. Lustige Idee, aber unangenehm bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt.
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war recht gering, bei Allergien oder Unverträglichkeiten hätte man mindestens ein Tag im Voraus etwas bestellen müssen. Insgesamt zu treuer für die angebotenen Leistungen.

Seeped in history and deeply romantic. It has a wonderful garden, orangery and wide open fields. All beds are four poster beds

Sink in the bathroom is very small, but it’s quite common in the UK unfortunately
Note to Americans: their king bed is a UK king size which is actually equivalent to a US queen bed. They don’t have US king beds here, which isn’t evident from the website

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft! Wir sind überwältigt. Tolles und äußerst freundliches Personal, Frühstück ist top! Restaurants sind in 2 min zu Fuss erreichbar. Love it!

a splurge that’s worth every penny!
Pros:

This is an exceptional lodging in an old abbot’s residence from the 1300s. The staff and owner were gracious and helpful. It is beautiful, historic, comfortable and was a highlight of our walk on the Cotswolds Way.

We had a wonderful one-night stay. I would have liked to have stayed longer.
Pros:

Beautiful historic building. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. Richard greeted us when arrived (later than expected due to car trouble) and showed us around the property. We loved the pulpit bar and had a drink in the great hall. Our breakfast was delicious.

Pros:

The most amazing stay in all our global travels! Everything and everyone at Abbots Grange exceeded our expectations. The Elizabethan suite is unbelievable and we felt like royalty. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever experienced. Can’t say enough about this magical place and everyone who works there. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing location and amazing historic hotel.
Pros:

Quite possibly the coolest place we have ever stayed. Great big room with a fireplace. Heated floors. Amazing. And the great room with the giant fireplace was a great way to enjoy a nightcap. I loved the honor system !

バスルーム以外は、大変良かったです

スタッフの対応は素晴らしかったです。
朝食もおいしかったです。
環境もよかったです。

Cons:

プライベートバスルームと記載されていましたが、部屋の外でした。
つまり、廊下を挟んで向かい側。
たとえ自分たちしか使用しないと言われても、極めて不便でした。
パスルームに行くためには部屋から出ないといけないという記載はなく、その点はガッカリでした。
また、バスタブの中でのシャワーしかなく、シャワーの水を遮るものがなく、バスルーム全体がビショビショになるのが、避けられませんでした。
