Historic hotel in great location
Pros:

Our go-to hotel in Barnstaple, we have stayed here many times. Friendly, helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms, huge comfortable beds and a great location at the end of the High Street.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind

Pros:

Room 202 was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and large. Very quiet considering it overlooked the high street. Lovely bathroom with plenty of room. Very relaxing break. Good location for getting around North Devon. Staff very polite and helpful. Would recommend to stay there.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike.

Great hotel
Pros:

We found the hotel very good the room was clean and a good size but the bed was rather small for my wife and I we should have booked a larger room with a king size bed but besides this everything was fine and the meals and staff were excellent

Cons:

Parking

Fantastic VFM and a prime location, right next to the High Street.
Pros:

All good and the evening meal in the 62 restaurant was excellent.

Cons:

The room was a little too warm, only realised later that I could have opened a window.

Fantastic hotel in every respect!
Pros:

Everything! Efficient, friendly, lovely staff. Extremely comfortable room and bed. Great food and service in the beautiful restaurant and lounge bar. Really enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Cons:

Long wait for hot water in the bathroom! Although not a major issue just wastes quite a lot of water!

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous room but totally ruined by unbelievably loud music.
Pros:

Room, bed, food

Cons:

There was a private function on in the main restaurant and we were kept awake by VERY loud music for hours and hours. We were on the 3rd floor so it must have been very very loud. We were hoping for an early night after a 5am start and a long day .
