The staff was excellent

It was up and down. The ups were very high and the downs were head scratching. With so many positives if they could just execute the basics it would have been a very special experience.

The staff was great. All were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was not ready on time and we lost AC during our visit. The staff made it right without asking but these are basic things that should just work.

The White Barn Inn is a lovely property, and the White Barn restaurant is one of the top meals we have ever had. The whole experience was unbelievable and a lovely stay for our first time in Kennebunk and in Maine. The team was incredibly responsive to us on all of our needs. While our stay had some issues, the way Auberge brand and the team at the White Barn resolved our issues and treated us was unlike anything I have ever experienced. This is what will keep us coming back to Auberge properties like this one again and again.

The Cora houseboat is truly a unique, restorative, romantic experience. We loved it. Well-stocked, including a bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Everyone on the staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfasts were delicious.

Location of the Inn was nice, close to town and Gooch Beach. I loved having the bikes available. It is expensive, but we went in May much cheaper.

My wife and I shared an incredible week at the White Barn Inn. I was skeptical about how small the property was but we ended up enjoying the intimate setting. The staff was incredible, exactly what you'd hope for. No detail was forgotten. The Mercedes program was a ton of fun to enjoy. You're close enough to Portland for a day trip and there are a ton of high quality restaurants in the area.

White Barn Inn was amazing. I stayed on the Cora Houseboat. It was secluded and calming. You are located in the river so there is a bit of boat traffic and the boat moves a bit, but only minimally.
The room and space are very well decorated and I had everything I needed.
The breakfast, that was delivered in the morning was a delight. It came in a little basket with coffee in a thermos and some house made pastries. The restaurant was cozy and delicious and the staff overall were very kind and attentive. Would definitely would love to revisit for pleasure!

The best hotel experience we have ever had. The service, amenities, upgrades, and thoughtful touches at every single step of our stay were unmatched.

We stayed with our wedding party at the white barn and the entire team was amazing. Everyone was kind, nice and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and supported through out our 5 day stay. We had amazing meals, bar service, and attention through out the entire experience. Thanks Nia, Will, Caleb, Sean, Grace and rest of the WB team!

We had a wonderful experience starting with a welcome drink at check in and a welcome basket waiting in our room. The upgrade to a suite was a pleasant surprise. We were offered rides or use of multiple Mercedes, which we took advantage of. We played scrabble in the living room and were served delicious cocktails-so relaxing. We used the bikes and rode along the ocean and downtown-so fun. The staff knew our names and greeted us with smiles at every turn. The attention to detail is A+. The fresh flowers throughout the Inn are a nice touch. The basket of tea and snacks delivered in the morning were such a treat. We enjoyed dinner and drinks and then breakfast at the restaurant and the service and food did not disappoint. I can’t compliment the staff enough, all were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I were able to get away last minute. I called the hotel and Nhia was able to get us booked for a room, and connected me to the spa for treatment bookings. And their concierge contacted me within 3 hours to help with dinner reservations. Upon arrival, the staff worked hard to get us an early check in. Upon entering our room, we had a portfolio with the itinerary for our entire stay printed out and waiting for us. And there was a nice bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in the room as well, to celebrate my belated birthday. The staff remembered why we were there and they treated us with so much attention and respect.

I highly recommend this inn for couples looking for a nice getaway. We were offered Mercedes on the property to use during our stay as well, which was such a unique experience I haven’t experienced elsewhere.

The Big Barn and the Little Barn had great vibes to them. We had drinks in the big barn and dinner/breakfast in the little barn. Both great experienced. We will definitely go back and try the big barn for dinner another time.

This won’t be our last time staying here. Nice to have a 5 star option in Maine to go to.

I’ve just returned from a long awaited getaway to the White Barn Inn. This stop has been on my list for years and it did not disappoint. I selected a room in the historical Inn for this first visit!

We had a surprisingly warm April weekend and the entire team delivered making it special from start to finish. Bikes were offered and rides to town for dinner with the most pleasant company getting us there. It truly felt like I was with a large group of friends all weekend!

Dinner at the WBI and cocktails were top notch. The service was flawless and memorable with the beautiful view from the window. My afternoon at the spa was everything you could ask for— thank you Brittany Davis. I’ll come back just to see you!

Auberge you don’t ever disappoint and that is why we continue to choose your properties. Next time we will try the cottages

The accommodations, service, staff & restaurants were outstanding. Unbelievable attention to details. Will definitely stay at the White Barn again!

Great experience overall- they welcomed us right away and helped us with everything. We didn’t even have to lift a finger for our baggage. We drove unbelievable Mercedes-Benz. My wife and I love them. We got To take them out for four hours each time!

We had a wonderful stay at the White Barn Inn. It is a fairly small property but that led to some excellent service and attention from the staff. I had a room that was one level above the smallest type and it was great. Good bed, clean, etc. The spa is very small, but I had one of the best massages of my life there. The fine dining was good; the halibut was not very flavorful but otherwise the meal was excellent. We had one big miss- the pressed flower class. The experience was very expensive and felt rather inauthentic- pressed flowers mainly had been ordered and came in packaging and there was virtually no instruction. I would highly NOT recommend the class though the "instructor" was very kind. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would consider returning in the shoulder seasons.
