I’ve just returned from a long awaited getaway to the White Barn Inn. This stop has been on my list for years and it did not disappoint. I selected a room in the historical Inn for this first visit!

We had a surprisingly warm April weekend and the entire team delivered making it special from start to finish. Bikes were offered and rides to town for dinner with the most pleasant company getting us there. It truly felt like I was with a large group of friends all weekend!

Dinner at the WBI and cocktails were top notch. The service was flawless and memorable with the beautiful view from the window. My afternoon at the spa was everything you could ask for— thank you Brittany Davis. I’ll come back just to see you!

Great experience overall- they welcomed us right away and helped us with everything. We didn’t even have to lift a finger for our baggage. We drove unbelievable Mercedes-Benz. My wife and I love them. We got To take them out for four hours each time!

We had a wonderful stay at the White Barn Inn. It is a fairly small property but that led to some excellent service and attention from the staff. I had a room that was one level above the smallest type and it was great. Good bed, clean, etc. The spa is very small, but I had one of the best massages of my life there. The fine dining was good; the halibut was not very flavorful but otherwise the meal was excellent. We had one big miss- the pressed flower class. The experience was very expensive and felt rather inauthentic- pressed flowers mainly had been ordered and came in packaging and there was virtually no instruction. I would highly NOT recommend the class though the "instructor" was very kind. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would consider returning in the shoulder seasons.

If you are looking for bespoke luxury in a small inn, then look no further than the White Barn Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food and cocktails were amazing! Our room had a large bathtub with a separate shower and a fireplace! I would recommend visiting this Inn any time of the year.

An exceptional experience from start to finish!

From the moment we arrived, the service was top notch. Matthew at the front desk made an amazing first impression and continued to impress us throughout our stay. He and Grace always provided personalized recommendations and always took the time to help with any questions. Nhia was warm and welcoming too. Check in and check out were quick and easy. We loved the welcome drink at check in! We also made good use of the fleet of Mercedes.

We styed in a junior suite with a fireplace and a large soaking tub in the main inn. It was a gorgeous room that allowed the character and charm of the inn to shine through without sacrificing convenience or comfort. The weather was fairly cold and rainy so our room was a perfect respite after our daily activities. The welcome snacks and nightly beside treats were great. And of course we loved the daily coffee delivery right to our door. Housekeeping did an amazing job every day of our stay. We also made use of the inn's Living Room. We spent a lot of time in front of the fireplace quietly reading or chatting with other guests and also enjoyed a game of Scrabble.

Dining was a highlight and we enjoyed daily breakfast in the Little Barn as well as some in room dining. The seven course blind tasting menu at the White Barn restaurant was a very special experience. Staff were always happy to accommodate special requests and provided fantastic service. Nils and Bella were two standouts as well as Cesar who was so kind and attentive to us.

We scheduled the Date Nigh at the Spa experience which included a couples massage, a few selections from the chef delivered to the spa, and exclusive use of the spa suite for the remainder of the evening. It was a major highlight during our stay. Jayleen and Brittany were amazing massage therapists (some of the best we have ever had) and made our date night something special.

This property is special with consistently wonderful service, thoughtful design, and comfortable touches. It was such a memorable getaway for us and we will certainly return.

As always, the service at White Barn was truly exceptional. We had the good fortune of staying in the loon cottage on this trip, which is incredibly spacious and the perfect choice for couples or friends traveling together. All the little touches from the welcome drink, the cookies and water to go, getting to test drive the Maybach, the Barbour lending closet, the beautiful and thoughtful complimentary minibar all come together to make you feel truly pampered.

Of course, the fine dining restaurant is always great, but on this trip I really have to shout out how incredible our spa experience was. We loved our massage experiences so much we tried to rebook for the next day! The staff is truly gifted and talented and we left feeling truly restored.

The White Barn Inn embodies the charm of Maine, the staff, the decor and the small details made for a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at the Inn who helped make it extra special. There are many places to stay in the area, however, this will be the only place we will ever stay when we return!

This lovely inn provides its guests with a five star experience from the moment of checking in. The farmhouse suites are spacious and beautifully appointed with a fireplace and fresh flowers, comfortable bedding, expansive bathroom, and several Maine sourced complimentary snacks and beverages. Each morning a complimentary basket with coffee or tea and breakfast pastries are left at your door at a time you choose. Turndown service in the evening comes with a nice gift of an herbal cleanser or bath oil. There is a fireplaced living room in the common area that also offers reading and board games, an ideal place to relax with a cocktail. The spa offers a full menu of services and is conveniently located adjacent to the lobby. The beautifully restored barn connected to the inn houses a Michelin starred fine dining restaurant, a more casual venue - the Little Barn, and a lounge. The staff members were all so attentive and welcoming, it was easy to remember them by name. The only daunting feature was the staircase leading up to the rooms, not a surprise for a farmhouse. But the staff was most helpful in transporting our luggage upon arrival and departure. We hope to make this a yearly destination after a long winter.

If a warm, inviting, relaxing atmosphere is what you are looking for, look no further. Visiting the White Barn Inn was a unique experience if for no other reason than the exceptional service. The staff attention to detail was like nothing I'd ever experienced. The entire staff made us feel like we were the most important guests that they'd ever had.

After spending roughly 150 nights per year in hotels for both business and personal travel, I can confidently say that my stay at White Barn Inn, Auberge Resorts Collection was one of the absolute best hotel experiences I have ever had.

The property itself is incredible. It is intimate with a small number of guest rooms, which makes the entire experience feel personal, peaceful, and special from the moment you arrive.

What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The valet team was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Each time we arrived, the passenger door was opened for me with such care. Small gestures like that make a stay memorable.

Nhia at the front desk was an absolute glowing light. Her warmth, recommendations, and thoughtfulness elevated the entire experience. She greeted us each time with such kindness and helped make our weekend feel truly special. There was also a blonde, curly-haired gentleman who checked us in and was equally lovely. The entire team clearly takes pride in making guests feel cared for.

The little touches throughout the stay were wonderful. Fresh coffee and pastries delivered to our door in the morning was such a thoughtful start to the day. The hotel’s partnership with Mercedes, allowing guests to test drive vehicles during their stay, was also a fun and unique experience. My boyfriend is already talking about getting a new car.

The food was phenomenal. We made it a point to experience everything, dining at all of the restaurants as well as enjoying room service. Every meal was beautifully presented and arrived quickly.

Dinner at the White Barn Inn restaurant was a highlight of our weekend. The setting is breathtaking and the entire experience felt incredibly special.

We stayed in the Tern Cottage, which sits just across from the main property on the water. It was beautifully designed with every detail thoughtfully considered. The fireplace, the views, and the peaceful setting made it perfect for a romantic couples getaway.

We recently stayed at The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern, Auberge Resorts Collection and had a wonderful trip there as well, but this stay felt even more intimate and memorable to me.

I had such a fantastic stay at White Barn Inn. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable, but what truly made the experience special was the staff.

They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and were always happy to help with recommendations or small requests. My stay at the White Barn Inn in Kennebunk was exceptional from start to finish. The visit began on a high note thanks to the warm, friendly welcome from the front desk team and valet—each interaction felt genuinely professional and personal.

One of the highlights of my stay was the relaxing massage I enjoyed at the inn’s lovely spa. The atmosphere was calming, and the therapists made sure every detail contributed to a peaceful experience.

Each morning, I looked forward to the thoughtful coffee delivery right to my cottage by the river. It was such a simple gesture, yet it made my mornings feel incredibly cozy and unhurried.

The location of the inn—and especially the cottages—is truly ideal. Whether I wanted to stroll into town to explore the charming shops and cafés or wander down to the beach for some quiet time by the water, everything was just a pleasant walk away.

Altogether, it was the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and New England charm. I couldn’t have asked for a more delightful stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn for a two-night winter getaway. We had a wonderful visit overall, and we can’t say enough good things about our stay.

We stayed in the Mays Poolside Cottage, which was beautiful and updated. With the pool closed, the cottage was private and cozy.

We did dog sled adventure, and I would recommend that to anyone. It was very cool, and the family who owns it does a great job.

Dining on property and at local restaurants was excellent. Ask to use the G Wagon for a drive to antique shops or lunch - it was a very nice touch.

We have done other high-end stays where you leave feeling like staff didn’t meet expectations for what you were paying for. Our experience here was different - the staff was kind, knew your name, responded to text message requests, and tried hard to make our trip special.

We look forward to coming back again, and hopefully bringing our kids too!

Amazing weekend..high level of service from arrival to departure...luxurious accommodation and gourmet dining experience.

Inn was cute, although not as luxurious as you’d expect for the price point. It is significantly more expensive than comparable properties, without that step up in facilities / finish.

Inn was not at all busy, yet incredibly noisy. You can hear everything - people moving around upstairs, any conversations in the hall, housekeeping etc. appreciate that it is a historic property, but would expect sound insulation to be better.

Resort fee expensive, when you don’t really get anything for it in winter. However, the complimentary Mercedes G-Wagon pick up/drop off within 2 miles is a nice touch.

Location means it is a walk to both dock square/town centre area and the beach.

Food was good, although it was only the room service menu that was being served.

Despite visiting off-season, my husband and I can't sing White Barn's praises loudly enough. Truly, this experience was quaint, picturesque, culinarily interesting, and memorable. The hotel facilities are so beautiful and clean. The atmosphere is idyllic and cozy. But truly, it is the service team that goes above and beyond that cements this stay as truly remarkable and worthwhile.

Spent a weekend at the White Barn Inn for my wife’s birthday. This is a very nice property and the service was amazing. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, fireplace and large bathroom that included a soaking tub. We dined at both restaurants and had a spa treatment. The food and service were excellent. Definitely a splurge as prices are high but we really enjoyed the weekend.

A wonderful hotel and all the staff was over the top friendly and accomodating. They knew our names from beginning to end.
