Belamere Suites Hotel

My wife and I stayed at Belamere Suites for our 17th wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment from the moment we arrived. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of an industrial park surrounded by semi trucks, which immediately ruined any romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. To make things even stranger, there were pieces of childlike artwork oddly placed on the outside of the buildings—nothing about it felt romantic or inviting.

Inside the room, things didn’t improve much. While it was clean, the rose petals placed on the bed were fake, which felt cheap and undermined the “luxury” experience they advertise. The fireplace clicked nonstop whenever we tried to use it, making it impossible to relax.

The worst part of the stay was the noise. Our neighbor spent the entire evening screaming at a football game. I called the front desk to complain about the noise, and the only solution they offered was to “drive the golf cart around.” The yelling stopped for about 30 minutes and then started right back up.

At that point, any romantic vibe I was trying to create for our anniversary was completely gone. We were so aggravated—especially considering the extravagant price tag—that it was clear we weren’t going to sleep or enjoy ourselves. We ultimately decided to leave at midnight and just go home.

When I called to request some sort of reimbursement, I was offered 50% off a future stay. I honestly found that laughable—I wouldn’t return even at $100 a night. This was a memorable anniversary for all the wrong reasons, and I cannot recommend Belamere Suites based on our experience.

Always enjoy your hotel . Have been several times enjoy ourselfs. Short drive from Detroit. We have been coming down for year’s birthdays, anniversaries. I would recommend this nice place and have to many people.

The rooms are beautiful, clean and private. The staff is absolutely amazing!! Anything you want or need is provided for you, 24 hours a day, by the super friendly staff. Belamere Suites is the perfect couples getaway!!

Everything was wonderful. This was for my husbands birthday. From the greeting, to the room, to the jacuzzi, to the fireplace, to the pond and the lock hearts, to the breakfast to the check out with the wonderful staff, it was all amazing.

Private and peaceful. Clean. Great customer service. Loved the pool, plenty of place to venture to in perrysburg, We walked around to the property. Sat by the water. We just relaxed and reconnected. We will be back. Thank you

Me and my husband enjoyed the swimming pool the most but over all this was very relaxing…. We ate at restaurants that we don’t have here in Michigan… even though it rained we still walked the grounds and had fun

We Love it here. So relaxing and peaceful. The Private Pool is our favorite. The Staff are so nice and friendly, always with a sweet smile. They take great care of your needs. We Highly recommend it to everyone.

Nice relaxing place for couples. The Belamere was clean with updated decor. Good muffins for breakfast. Everyone was friendly. The area has a lot of things to see - museums, walking paths, etc. We had a nice visit.

Superior customer service.

Just came home had a blast great stay the room was clean nice and the private pool was so fun. Wife and I had a blast very close to a ton of restaurants and things to do will definitely be back. Michael and Melissa working the front desk were awesome. Super friendly staff very welcoming, also very accommodating.

Top tier! This place was amazing. The room was gorgeous and the grounds were perfect and peaceful. All the little touches and thoughtfulness that goes into the room, shows how much the owners love and take pride in their property. Their staff was, high class caring sweet everything you want from hospitality. Bravo, we'll be back.
