Great please to relax after a night flight. Very peaceful and comfortable; lots of different corners and cosy areas. Good food. Friendly staff.

Prachtig grote suite, echt heerlijk eten en bijzonder aardig personeel. Mooi gelegen tussen de zee en de lagoon op een half uurtje rijden van het vliegveld. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en kijken er naar uit om over 3 weken na onze reis door Sri Lanka hier weer te mogen verblijven.

Everything. What a perfect end to an amazing holiday. Villa Hundira was spectacular - it was relaxing, luxurious with pretension and so very tranquil. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.

A unique property with so many beautiful places to sit and relaxed sit in the mangroves and on the ocean lagoon such a stunning environment. The staff were outstanding helping and assisting whenever required the rooms are large. Shower fresher is great. Food was beautiful on the kitchen and an added bonus was the fabric art sold in the small shop. We will definitely be back.

C est beau, c est raffiné, une deco très bohème , 2 piscines à taille humaine , le restaurant est bon , le personnel est adorable, c' est propre, c est géré dans la gentillesse et le professionnalisme, ça fait 3 séjours que je passe chez eux en 3 mois , et je n ai pas trouvé de meilleurs adresses a Negombo. Un véritable cocoon pour arriver ou pour partir ...

Having travelled to many countries, this hotel was for me my favorite. I loved the layout, the staff, all the quite corners, all the opportunities to interact with other guests "everything stops for tea" at 4pm. With no main resturant, you could eat at any of the many tables around the property so you got different dining views, canal, lagoon, garden, pool, or a little more formal on the veranda outside the lobby. I've never experience staff as good as this before, Chamidu was fantastic and went above and beyond to help us with every request, as were all the staff. The food we experienced here was some of the best and a big thank you to all the staff who always met us with smiles and looked after us. Fans of motorcross are in for a treat here as the owner is a three times World champion. For the arts and crafts aficionados there is a fantastic oppoutunity on site in the "Thimbles" workshop, do support their work or try it out for yourself. There are two swimming pools and there are times when it feels like you are living in your own private villa and I think that comes from the overall ambience of the hotel. If you want to relax, read books, do some art, enjoy good food, lounge at the pool, enjoy a massage, make some friends over tea, then this is the place. We came for one night and stayed nearly two weeks and I would love to return anytime. My favorite out of dozens and dozens of hotels.

Very charming place with a little lagoon running through the property where you could take a canoe or boat (and see lizards swimming), and 2 clean pools. Felt like being in the middle of nature. Very kind and welcoming staff. The place had a lot of character with artifacts from all over the world. We were lucky to be upgraded to a very spacious and beautiful room with not 1 but 2 bathrooms :) They also arranged afternoon tea, which was a nice addition. The food was delicious - we had all of our meals there.
