We only spent one night here as it was en route to Trincomalee. We enjoyed the ancient sites of Anuradhapura, and this hotel offered a fantastic pool, breakfast, and friendly service. We particularly enjoyed the Sri Lankan food at breakfast, and the egg hoppers were very tasty.

Had a wonderful stay at Rajarata Hotel! The room was spotless, and the restaurant and bar area were clean, classy, and very welcoming. A special thank you to Nethmi, Dulshan, and Madara at the Front Desk for their warm hospitality and willingness to help, and to Anuja from the restaurant for the kind and attentive service. The entire team made my stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

A very friendly welcome, generously sized, immaculately clean rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom facilities. Delicious breakfast and dinner with a wide selection for all tastes. The pool was amazing and beautifully kept.

very comfortable and peaceful place to stay, especially for anyone visiting the Anuradhapura area. The property has a calm atmosphere, spacious surroundings, and a relaxing environment
The staff was friendly.
The washroom emitted a rather foul smell all the time, the triple room triple bed was hard and the person who slept in it had a neck pain the other day. The room curtains are not blackout curtains so the light comes in very heavy to the room.
Location which was close to all the shrines and temples.
The wash room had red patches on walls and grime on the bottom of shower cubicles. The mosquitos in the bathroom and room .
There was a large group of tourists/ about 50 from another country and the buffet food had catered mainly for them which was not my choice. The guests were touching the food with hands and putting them back . The restaurant manager tried to stop it but there should have been more staff near buffet tables to prevent this .It was funny they were eating while walking.

VERY EXPENSIVE. 10% SERVICE CHARGE + 20% taxes on top of already expensive food which is not good. Buffet is expensive too as compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka.
