Good for 1 night stay
Pros:

The property was decent. Clean and quiet. Staff was good. We had to leave early for safari hence they packed breakfast for us. It was basic - a sandwich and packed juice, but okay. When we came back from safari, it was already the checkout time, but they agreed to extend by an hour, which gave us time to refresh and pack.

Cons:

The location was kind of off-beat. But I guess the whole area Tissa is like this only

Very quiet relaxed 3 day stay with 2 chidren

Beautiful relaxed settee NG, great pool, excellent helpful staff.

One problem only, our toilet did not flush well.

Pros:

Lovely staff and very welcoming. Clean rooms and lovely pool were immensely enjoyed after a hot day travelling

Pros:

Pool and garden are beautiful, bed is comfortable, staff is friendly

Cons:

The bathroom is aweful. After using the shower everything is wet and the water doesn’t flow away. From the shower to the toilet (under and around) the toilet the tiles were yellow to brown due to the residues of lime and dirt. The window is broken and could not be closed, so dozens of mosquitoes came inside.
On the chairs on the balcony there are no cushions, so it is quite uncomfortable to sit there.
We left one day earlier because we did not feel comfortable at all.

Cadre magnifique, très bon restaurant mais rafraîchissement de la chambre à prévoir
Pros:

Nous avons séjourné 1 nuit dans cet hôtel pour avoir la possibilité de faire le safari à Yala. Il est situé dans une impasse ce qui rend le jardin arboré très calme. Le cadre au bord de la piscine est tout bonnement superbe, nous étions seuls toute la matinée et avons pu observer depuis notre chaise longue des varans et plusieurs types d’oiseaux ! Le personnel est au petit soin et nous avons très bien mangé le soir au restaurant et au petit-déjeuner !

Cons:

La chambre était très grande et disposait d’un ventilateur, d’une climatisation et d’une moustiquaire mais semblait un peu "dans son jus". Un rafraîchissement est à prévoir selon moi

Ideal for Yalla
Pros:

A great launching point for our Yalla National Park safari, with a fantastic and huge pool.
Our Sri Lancan meal (chicken curry and seafood fried rice) was excellent.

Cons:

The staff were very helpful and friendly, but did not volunteer information, we had to request it (details for the safari and onward car journey). I suspect that this arises from new staff and will be sorted.

Comfy and convenient stay for yala
Pros:

Nicely located, able to eat a decent meal at the hotel or restaurants are a relatively short walk away. Staff are very helpful and helped us organise transport to and from the hotel. Room was comfy and equipped with a mosquito net

Cons:

Could do with a better clean in the bathroom

Pros:

Великолепный бассейн в тихом цветущем саду среди полей и частных домов. Неподалеку единственный хороший ресторан Bistro Yala Restaurant но нормальных магазинов нет. Очень экзотическое место с летучими лисицами на озере неподалеку. Приятный персонал, присылает подробнейшие инструкции по заселению, чуть старые но комфортные номера.

Cons:

Местонахождение отеля вдали от всего, нужно ездить на тук туке. Дороговато просят за свои услуги по организации сафари.

Petit hôtel avec piscine parfait pour un repos après Sadari à Yala
Pros:

Petit hôtel de 16 chambres dans 4 bâtiments. La piscine est très sympa et « nageable ».
Le restaurant est top et aux prix raisonnables

Cons:

Emplacement intéressant que si vous faites un safari à Yala … annulé pour l’avoir déjà fait dans le triangle culturel.
Rajouter un peu plus de chaises longues … 9 c’est court !
