A truly magical stay in Split at the Heritage Hotel Antique Split.
Pros:

We had an amazing room with 2 large windows that looked right out at the Cathedral of St. Domnius and the bell tower. We just couldn't believe that we were staying in part of a palace that was built 1700 years ago. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. It had a magic window in the bathroom that went from opaque to clear with the push of a button which allowed you to see the bell tower from the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. It included a buffet and made to order choices. This is a family run hotel, and the people were exceptionally helpful and kind. Many thanks to Catherine and Juliana for their assistance and advice, and for helping make our stay so enjoyable.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing. Everything was way beyond our expectations.

Perfect Split Hotel in the Palace
Pros:

In the middle of Diocletian"s Palace. Looking out my window I could see the bell-tower and the main areas of the palace. Beautiful decor and furnishings. Very helpful staff. Amazing breakfasts with homemade pastries (my favorite were the plum muffins) every morning and eggs and meats. Absolutely central to everything.

Cons:

A bit hard to find. Like the rest of Old town Split, there are stairs everywhere, but the staff helped me with my luggage. Not accessible for those with mobility issues (but that's Croatia!).

Pros:

Odlična lokacija u samoj jezgri grada, mi smo bili bez auta tako da ne znam lokaciju parkinga ali postoji i ta opcija uz smještaj. Osoblje je vrlo susretljivo i ljubazno, odličan doručak svježe pripremljen i veliki izbor svega. Jako lijepe sobe s prekrasnim pogledom na staru jezgru!

Jan and Julia are the best managers; very friendly, hospitable, going out of their to help and guide
Pros:

Very good location closer to all important attractions. Make to order breakfast is excellent and very cordial staff. Jan is very friendly and came to pick me up from the car parking and is very knowledgeable of the history. He also accompanied till the bus stop at the time of check-out. Julia too is an excellent manager and very helpful & friendly. They mingled like a family member; great to have such a staff.

Awesome experience staying in the Palace
Pros:

The hotel managers met us at the car park location to bring us to the hotel. They also helped with our heavy luggages. We also got awesome recommendations on what to do, where to visit and directions to a scenic route to Marjan Stairs. Love the powerful showers too

La posizione. La camera si affacciava direttamente sul campanile della cattedrale. La cortesia e disponibilità dello staff. La colazione, anche se lo spazio a disposizione non è ampio, sicuramente molto buona, con possibilità di richiedere piatti cotti al momento

Cons:

Breakfast was very good. But there was only the 2 of us and gave us enough food for 6 people. And the man who served us was stood over us telling us to eat more. We then felt rude leaving any food

Perfect location and perfect hotel
Pros:

Look no further this is it! We loved our stay here. Breakfast was lovely, our room was comfortable and the heated floor in the bathroom was so nice. Jan and Ana treated us like family. We are so grateful. We have already started to think about our return trip
