Een zeer budgetvriendelijk verblijf in hartje stad met enkele minpuntjes.
Pros:

Wij verbleven niet in La Pazza maar zijn afgeleid naar Tepe Palace. Het bed was zeer goed en het was netjes schoongemaakt, geen kamer met badkamer, maar een kleine suite met plafonds van vier meter hoog, wel leuk. Het was gerieflijk. De ligging is ideaal, op 50 meter van Istiklal Caddesi voor shopping en op 200 meter van Taksim Meydan, met een metrolijn en taxi ranks vlakbij.

Cons:

Wij verbleven niet in La Pazza maar zijn afgeleid naar Tepe Palace, dus dat was al niet zoals gereserveerd. Dat gebeurt wel meer in Turkije, bait and switch. Het was een oude, charmante Ottomaanse woning waar nog volop in gewerkt werd toen we aankwamen, hoewel we hier geen last van hadden. De douche werkte niet goed, mankeerde een deur, de afloop was verstopt en liep over, de badkamer was koud. De badkamer was gerenoveerd met tweedehands materialen. De haardroger was ook recuperatiemateriaal. De deur sleepte en de sleutel was lastig in het slot te krijgen. In de tweede kamer was er de voorlaatste nacht een lek aan de radiator. Dit zijn vermijdbare details die onnodig irriteren. Het personeel waren geen professionele hoteliers maar erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Anderzijds was het erg goedkoop; wij betaalden €530 voor twaalf overnachtingen, dat maakte veel goed. We wensen dan ook niet echt te klagen.

Cons:

Przyjechawszy na miejsce, nie mieliśmy żadnego kontaktu z właścicielem obiektu. Nie otrzymaliśmy żadnego kodu dostępu oraz informacji na temat sposobu dostania się do wnętrza bloku. Ze względu na to, iż nie było żadnego kontaktu z właścicielem, który nie odpowiedział na żadną z wiadomości, byliśmy zmuszeni szukać sobie nowego miejsca zakwaterowania. Centrum obsługi klienta Booking.com w pełni umyło od tego ręce, nie pomagając nam odzyskać pieniędzy pobranych za pobyt w obiekcie.
