Excellent stay in a central location.
Pros:

Very central location with food, shopping and Kumamoto castle within walking distance. Restaurant food at hotel is also very good. Also have massage service. Just next to the contemporary art museum which is worth a visit.

Cons:

Pyjamas provided is not so comfy.

Would stay again
Pros:

The receptionist spoke very fluent English, which was a different experience for us coming from other parts of Kyushu. Location was pretty good, and we could walk to many eateries and attractions. It was very rainy the day we were in Kumamoto, and we were glad the hotel provided big umbrellas.

Cons:

Parking at 2200 yen may be a little expensive, but we were given a ticket that allowed us to drive in and out throughout our stay. The hotel seemed to have undergone refurbishment as a whole, but the bathroom still seemed a bit old and we had to use two taps for the sink, which was a bit inconvenient.

Hotel Nikko is my favourite hotel chain.
Pros:

Very nice rooms, nice bath towels, wonderful housekeeping. Reception was exceptional - staff was very welcoming and helpful. Exceptional service. We arrived early and left our luggage before check in time. When we checked in, our luggage was already in our room.

Cons:

The mattress was too firm. Also it would be a 10 if the hotel had a gym.

check in的時候就有管家一樣的人來招呼
我覺得這就是住大飯店的感覺
服務人員態度很好
房間整潔度OK
地點不錯、對面就有商店街和鶴屋百貨
離熊本城只有一站
而且飯店門口外面的巴士站就能夠搭機場巴士
