Classic Cozy Stay amidst art and history
Pros:

A gem of a hotel feels like home surrounded by wonderful art collection, history and nostalgia. Staff are very welcoming and helpful serving tasty local dishes and local signature drinks. Blitar is a must for those interested in history from ancient times at Penataran Temple to the life of Soekarno.
Easy walk from the train station and hotel can also help with touring.

Lovely heritage hotel. Good room, hot water, Wifi.Excellent staff , Totally recommended.
Pros:

Really enjoyed my stay in this heritage hotel. My room was comfortable with good hot water, TV and Wifi.
Staff were all excellent and very proactive. Beautiful artifacts, photographs etc . A glimpse of how it used to be in colonial days. Happily stay here again.

Cons:

internet connection quite poor if not inexistant in some room. A bit dark in the day and no way to switch off the outside light at night (no curtains at upper windows)

Vintage vibes, if you like vintage and history, you'll love this hotel. Some may not comfortable with vintage wood furniture,, but I don't mind.

Pros:

The staff was simply incredible, so sweet and friendly! The history of this place, the food (the best I've had so far in Java), and it's within walking distance of the railway station. They organized a nice driver and a breakfast box for me to visit Kelud, the Penataran temple and Sukarno's grave.

Cons:

The bathroom could use some renovating, but the price for the room is very cheap, so that's totally fine.

Het hotel ziet er mooi uit, de kamer is ruim en heeft goed bed. Het restaurant is prima, ontbijt is goed.

Cons:

Wel een raam, maar geen uitzicht. Douchen in bad. Wifi is matig.
