One of the cheaper options in Brooklyn during the World Cup but you get what you pay for.
Pros:

It's close to metros that take you quickly into central New York although the street it's on is fairly run down. The room size was decent for 3 travellers.

Cons:

The room was a bit 'shabby' with a broken table, broken curtain rail and no bedding provided for the sofa bed on arrival or enough towels for 3 people.

Solid stay for a busy city tourist.
Pros:

The staff was really friendly and helpful, the rooms themselves were well equipped and the bathroom was really nice, with a rainfall shower and a light up mirror. Shampoo and conditioner, water, and cups were available. The air conditioner was amazing especially during the heatwave. The location was great - amazing access to the Nostrand Ave station and direct access to Manhattan

Cons:

The linens were really old, they smelled like body odor and had some holes and stains but they had also def been washed so I dunno what was up there - and the towels shed fibers everywhere. The toilet wasn't working properly - it would keep draining and you'd have to manually fix it after each use; the floor was oddly oily even though the room had been well cleaned and the walls are super thin and maybe it was the weekend I was there but it was loud in the early morning.

Essentially a hostel charging hotel prices. Avoid.
Pros:

Conveniently located near the train station and relatively compact with large rooms.

Cons:

Towels were not provided, very understaffed, broken light fixtures and dressers, with stained mattresses and damaged furniture.

Atrocious. Inhumane. Illegal.
Pros:

The location was relatively easy to get to.

Cons:

I was put in a cellar room, completely below ground level, and without a window.

Disgusting hotel that you should never stay at.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

The front door was broken when we got in, the bathroom was dirty, and there was no towels. All of the furniture was dirty and had scrapes all over them. The ac didn’t work in the room and was hanging off the wall. There was no fitted sheet on the bed either, just a top sheet.
